Day One: – Arrival Day
Get ready for an unforgettable start to our Thunderstik adventure!
Arrive in Sioux Falls, the “Heart of America,” by 3:00 pm. We’ll head to the charming Historic Thunderstik Lodge for check-in and kick off with a lively Welcome Happy Hour to mingle and make new friends. Savor a delicious dinner crafted by the amazing Thunderstik chef. As the day winds down, gather around a cozy bonfire and soak in the stunning sunset over the Missouri River.

Day Two: Learn all about gun and how to use them safely – Buffalo and Famous Dogs
We will have breakfast alfresco overlooking the majestic Missouri river and Thunderstik’s private buffalo herd. If it’s chilly outside, we will have a roaring breakfast fire to eat fireside. After breakfast, we will have a few hours of free time after breakfast to walk the property (group walk) to enjoy the scenery, taking photos of the buffalo or to simply relax and enjoy new friendships. For the dog lovers, you can join in by walking our 24 pheasant dogs which is done each morning and afternoon. We will have a casual lunch and will hit the shooting ranges for a shooting instruction/safety lessons along with some fun games (guns and $120 ammo credit is included – additional ammo can be purchased). We will have dinner and the balance of the evening will be fun getting to know each other, playing card games and having a bonfire.

Day Three: The Badlands National Park Private Guided Tour
Embark on an awe-inspiring adventure to the Badlands!
Start your day with a hearty buffet-style breakfast at 8 am. By 9 am, we’ll set off for a private guided tour of the stunning Badlands National Park, complete with a picturesque box lunch picnic. On our return, we’ll explore the iconic city of Wall, SD, perfect for some shopping and sightseeing. Back at the lodge, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a cozy bonfire to cap off the evening.

Day Four: Pontoon Float Down The Majestic Missouri River
Experience a day of relaxation and adventure on the majestic Missouri River!
Start with a delightful breakfast at the lodge, then spend your morning exploring the rolling hills or perfecting your skills at the gun/shooting range. After a tasty lunch, embark on a scenic pontoon ride down the Missouri River, taking in the breathtaking views. Return to the lodge for a memorable Goodbye Dinner, and finish the evening around a cozy bonfire, sharing stories and memories with your new friends.

Start your final day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, we’ll head to the airport, making a fascinating stop at the world-famous Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD, if your flight schedule permits. Enjoy a box lunch during our scenic drive to the airport, reminiscing about the incredible experiences we’ve shared.
