The Outer Banks of North Carolina offers a welcome relief from crowded cities and overrun vacation spots. In fact, you won’t find any cities on the Outer Banks, just 100+ miles of wide-open shoreline, charming seaside villages and a mix of towns brimming with personality and fascinating connections to our nation’s history. Although we’re just a drive away, these barrier islands feel remote. What makes the Outer Banks so special? No boardwalks, no loud theme parks and no high rise hotels blocking the views of the ocean. No flashy nightlife, no neon lights, or main street tourist traps. The natural beauty of the fragile islands and the pristine beaches is what makes the Outer Banks so unique.

Day 1 Arrivals should be by 3:00 pm at Norfolk VA International Airport (ORF). We will pick you up and will head to the Oasis Suites Hotel in Nags Head in the fabulous Outer Banks area (a 2-hr trip from the airport) to get settled before we have a fabulous Welcome Party with wine and appetizers before we head to dinner at a fun seafood restaurant, Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar!
Today’s Highlights:

Day 2 Breakfast will be at the hotel and then we will head out to do some discovering in the Outer Banks, NC area! We will go and tour the beautiful Elizabethan Botanical Gardens and afterwards, we will have lunch in Manteo and will spend the afternoon checking out the fun shops and galleries.
Today’s Highlights:
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Touring the Elizabethan Botanical Gardens
- Lunch in Manteo at Avenue Grille
- Shopping in the quaint town of Manteo
- Dinner together as a group at Sugar Creek Restaurant
Day 3 Breakfast will be at the Fresh Fit Cafe and then we will head out to Roanoke Island to explore the 1585 Elizabeth II Ship and tour the Roanoke Island Maritime Museum. We will have lunch at a fun Greek restaurant right in Roanoke Island. When we get back to the hotel in the afternoon, you will have free time to sit on the beach and/or relax. Dinner will be at Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe.

- Touring the 1585 Elizabeth II Ship at Roanoke Island
- Touring the Roanoke Island Maritime Museum
- Having lunch at a Greek restaurant, Olive’s Greek Kitchen
- Touring the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse
- Dinner together with the group at Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe
Day 4 Breakfast will be at Beachside Bistro and then we will head out to have a Hummer Tour of the Wild Horses on the beach in Corona, NC! We will check out some lighthouses on the way back to Monteo. Our last dinner together will be casual at Waterman’s Bar & Grill on the waterfront and we will share stories from our time together.
Today’s Highlights:
- Breakfast at the Beachside Bistro
- Hummer Tour of Wild Horses on the beach in Corona, NC
- Checking out some beautiful lighthouses
- Having dinner at Waterman’s Bar & Grill – on the waterfront – enjoying our last evening in Outer Banks and sharing stories from our time together
Day 5 We will have breakfast at the hotel and will head back to the airport for flights home.

- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival forfeits entire payment.
- Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival a 50% fee charged and balance is held on credit for future travel.
- Cancellations made 90 days prior to the event full refund is given and Deposit is transferred to a new trip of choosing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can not find an arrival flight before designated arrival window?
Our trips are typically only 4-6 days in length so we really try to make the most out of our time together. The first night we host a special Welcome Dinner where you really kick off the fun and start to get acquainted. However, we understand that it is not always possible to find a flight that works. There are a few options.
1. let our team know ASAP and it’s possible we can accommodate for it. In some situations there is a hotel shuttle or taxi that can be taken. However, some airports are too far from our destination for shuttle or taxi services, so it is important that you let our team know ASAP
2. Arrive a day early
- You will be responsible for your own transportation and hotel arrangements during that time
- Please let our team know if you would like to stay at the same hotel and we can help arrange it
What if I can not find a departure flight before designated departure window?
Our trips are typically only 4-6 days in length so we really try to make the most out of our time together. We have scheduled tours or meals the day of departure so it is possible that if you have a flight earlier than designated departure time that you will miss part of the tour. We would recommended tying to stay an extra night. Please note that you are responsible for all ground transportation for your departure if your departure is outside of designated window.
