Every Beatrice Bradley trip is crafted to maximize the experiences had during the trip.
The itineraries are specially made to allow time for engaging in conversation and having belly laughs with a new friend. We hope that the activities and experiences may allow you to come out of your comfort zone and to try new or unique things.
These trips are made to replicate a ‘friends get-away trip’. 

Day One:  Arrival Day

Please fly into LGA – LaGuardia Airport or JFK Airport and arrive before 3 pm for the airport pick up.

We will be staying at the fabulous Civilian Hotel – A melting pot of arts, music and theatre, the CIVILIAN gives outsiders the chance to mingle with the who’s who of Manhattan’s creative scene. Many of New York’s brightest talents collaborated on the 203 guestrooms, adding distinctly local touches and authentic accents that make CIVILIAN like no other address in the city.

Highlights

• One of the hosts will meet you at the airport and arrange transportation to the Civilian Hotel where another host will be waiting to help you get checked into your room
• Welcome Happy Hour at The Starchild Lounge at the Civilian Hotel – An elevated lounge experience with exceptional views of the New York Skyline
• The Welcome Dinner will be at The Blue Room Restaurant at the Civilian Hotel
• Taking a walk to enjoy New York City Nightlights and catch a few sailors heading out for a night of fun
• Group Nightcap at a fun NYC spot

 *All ship tours are subject to change – ships represented in the itinerary are ships that were docked in 2023

Day Two: Monday May 27, 2024 – NEW YORK AS SEEN FROM THE HARBOR 

Highlights

• Early raiser NY city coffee walk followed by breakfast at the hotel 
• USS Wasp (LHD-1) will be our 1st ship tour  –  USS Wasp is known as a “big deck amphib,” Wasp resembles an aircraft carrier
• New York Yacht Cruise. In addition to cruising the FLEET WEEK ships, we will cruise along all three NYC rivers, pass under 20 bridges and see over 130 of the city’s most iconic landmarks including the Manhattan skyline, Little Island, Hudson Yards, One World Trade Center, Brooklyn Bridge and downtown Brooklyn, Yankee Stadium, the George Washington Bridge and, of course, an up-close look at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island!
•  Dinner at a fabulous famous NY hot spot!
• After dinner “stroll through Times Square” with Sailor photo opps!

 Days Three and Four: The Amazing City Pass – Let’s see NEW YORK!

Highlights

• Early riser coffee walk – Take in NY while it sleeps!
• Breakfast at Rosevale Kitchen at the hotel
• NY City Pass – we will tour the following locations:
  • Empire State Building, Top of the Rock Observation Deck. Ferry to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, American Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Intrepid Museum, Guggenheim Museum, Edge at Hudson Yards
• Lunch will be at a fun spot along the way – the group’s choice!
• Dinner both nights will be at fabulous spots

Day Five:  – Departure Day

Highlights

• Farewell Breakfast with the group at Mom’s Kitchen
• Checking out of the hotel
• Free time exploring NYC until you need to go to the airport – we will still have our City Passes for anyone who wants to take in more of NY!

How it Works:

Activity Level – Easy

There will be walking and standing during the tour.  You will need to be able to get in and out of a van.

It is your responsibly to fully read and understand the physical abilities that correlate to this Beatrice Bradley Experience. Difficulty level of activity is subject to individual interpretation so it is extremely important that you read the itinerary and reach out if you have concerns or questions.

Role of a Beatrice bradley hostess

Beatrice Bradley is an Experience Company not a Tour Company.  The role of a Beatrice Bradley Host is to be warm and welcoming. To relate and connect. To have attention to details. And to manage the behind-the-scenes magic so your experience is one-of-a-kind. They are not local experts nor are they tour guides. We hire local experts, guides, and historians as each location warrants. They are expert hosts and manage the camaraderie and logistics of the experience. Our goal is that your hostess will make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and that you will walk away with new & lasting friendships made during an unforgettable experience.

As a solo-traveler, we need you to provide self-awareness and an understanding that you are fully responsible for yourself. This includes: your possessions, your physical abilities or fitness, your attitude, and all other aspects that relate to traveling solo in a group.

• You must be able to manage your own luggage and all of your personal belongings on this trip
• This is not a handicap accessible able trip – you must be able to get in and out of a Large Passenger Transit Vehicle
• All Ground transportation is included on this trip
• Group Airport transfers are included in this trip
• This trip will have have a maximum of 14 women
• This trip will have 2 Beatrice Bradley Hostesses
• If you need a roommate, we will happily pair you with another Beatrice Bradley traveler
• Travel insurance is not included. Beatrice Bradley is not a licensed travel insurance operator nor is our staff trained to in travel insurance. You can choose to purchase travel insurance through any licensed provider you choose. We will ask you upon booking if you would like us to send you some suggested licensed insurance companies.
