By 3:00 PM, you’ll be greeted and whisked away on a scenic drive through rolling prairies, leading to the legendary Thunderstik Lodge. For those flying private, Chamberlain and Mitchell airports offer an equally convenient arrival.
Perched high above the mighty Missouri River, Thunderstik Lodge welcomes you with its breathtaking views and an undeniable sense of history. From the moment you step onto the lodge’s back porch, a refreshing cocktail in hand, you’ll be captivated by the sweeping landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see. Keep watch for majestic mule deer and the lodge’s own buffalo herd grazing in the distance—this is South Dakota at its finest.
Your First Evening at Thunderstik
