Day 2: The Countdown to America’s 250th Begins!
It’s July 3rd—but in Gatlinburg, the celebration starts early… and big. You’re here for a once-in-a-lifetime patriotic experience, and today delivers on every level. After a peaceful mountain morning and a delicious breakfast at the lodge, we’ll head into town to soak up the red, white, and blue spirit that’s bursting from every corner.
Anakeesta Adventure
We’ll begin with a visit to Anakeesta, Gatlinburg’s magical mountaintop park. A scenic chairlift whisks you above the treetops, where you’ll discover stunning Smoky Mountain views, canopy walks, whimsical gardens, and delightful shops. Enjoy lunch surrounded by natural beauty and fresh mountain air—it’s the perfect place to reflect on everything we love about this country.
DOWNTOWN GATLINBURG IN FULL CELEBRATION MODE
When we return to town, you’ll feel it right away—Gatlinburg is alive with patriotic pride. Flags line the streets, music fills the air, and the entire community is gearing up for the nation’s first Independence Day parade. Explore at your own pace: shop, taste locally made treats, or simply take in the joyful buzz of thousands of people coming together to celebrate.
THE MIDNIGHT PARADE: BE PART OF HISTORY
Tonight is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. While most of the country is sleeping, Gatlinburg kicks off the Fourth of July with a spectacular parade—at 12:01 AM sharp. That’s right: you’ll be there for the very first official celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
We’ll grab our front-row spots along the Parkway and settle in with glowsticks, snacks, and unmatched excitement. Watch the streets come alive with marching bands, military units, performers, floats, and fireworks of the heart. You’ll feel chills as the crowd cheers and the flag waves—it’s a night you’ll never forget.

Day Three: Newfound Gap Jeep Adventure & Pigeon Forge Fun
After a warm breakfast at the lodge, it’s time to embark on a thrilling day of exploration. Climb aboard the iconic open-air Pink Jeep® Wrangler in Pigeon Forge, ready for an adventure that will take you deep into the Smoky Mountains.
Newfound Gap: A Scenic Ascent
As you ascend 3,000 feet, the lush forests of the Smokies envelop you. When you arrive at Newfound Gap, nearly a mile above sea level, the views are nothing short of breathtaking. With sweeping panoramas of the Smoky Mountains and a visit to the historic Rockefeller Memorial, you’ll stand at the crossroads of history and natural beauty.
Off-Road Excitement
The thrill peaks as you take on a rugged 4×4 off-road ride through private mountain trails. Hold on tight as your expert guide navigates the wild terrain, giving you an exhilarating experience and a close-up view of the Smokies’ untamed beauty.
Afterward, enjoy some free time in Pigeon Forge, where you can shop, explore, and soak up the town’s lively atmosphere.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, savoring your last moments with new friends and the breathtaking views from the mountain-top retreat. It’s hard to believe it’s time to say goodbye, but the memories made here will stay with you long after you leave.
By mid-morning, the shuttle will whisk you away, taking you back down the scenic mountain roads toward Knoxville Airport. As you drive, the Smoky Mountains will slowly disappear in the distance, leaving you with the unforgettable beauty and adventures of the past few days.

- Shuttle to Knoxville Airport: Comfortable transportation to the airport, departing at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, ensuring an easy and scenic journey.
- Departure After 12:00 PM: Flights depart after noon, giving you a leisurely morning to reflect on the unforgettable experiences.
Fun Fact: The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the United States, welcoming over 12 million visitors each year!

Triple Occupancy
You will be staying in a Bunk Room (lower bunks only) that have 3 King or Queen beds / 1 bathroom per room. You must be able to get in, and out of, a lower style bed with a ledge. Not recommended for women that have mobility limitations. Bunk Room is located on lower walk-out level and must be able to do stairs.
Single Occupancy
You will be staying in a private room with a King bed and private bathroom. Must be able to do stairs – half the rooms are on a walkout lower level.
