The itineraries are specially made to allow time for engaging in conversation and having belly laughs with a new friend. We hope that the activities and experiences may allow you to come out of your comfort zone and to try new or unique things.
These trips are made to replicate a ‘friends get-away trip’. 

Day One: Monday March 6, 2023 – Arrival Day

Highlights

• 12 – 2PM: Pick up at San Antonio Airport
• 4:30 PM: Check into the Ox Ranch – you will be staying in the Cedar Cabins
• 5:45 PM: Welcome Happy Hour at the main lodge and a walking tour of the main lodge compound
• 7:00 PM: Dinner will be served at the main lodge
• 8:00 PM: Late night dip in the heated pool and a night cap at the main lodge

Day Two: Tuesday March 7, 2023 

Highlights

• 9:00 AM: Breakfast served at the Main Lodge
• 10:00 –12:00 PM: Photo Safari Tour #1 – Dinosaur Tracks and Cave Tour
• 12:30 – 1:30 PM: Lunch at the Main Lodge
• 1:30 – 2:30 PM: Free time to explore or relax by the pool
• 2:30 – 4:30 PM: Wheeler tour of the ranch
• 4:30 – 6:30 PM: Water Activities and Fishing OR Photo Safari #1.5 with arrowhead hunting
• 6:30 PM: Happy Hour with photo sharing at the main lodge
• 7:00 – 8:00 PM: Dinner in the Main Lodge
• 8:00 PM: Free time in the Main Lodge

Day Three: Wednesday March 8, 2023 

Highlights

• 9:00 AM: Breakfast in the Main Lodge
• 10:00 – 12:00 PM: Photo Safari Tour #2 – Feeding of the Giraffes
• 12:30 – 1:30 PM: Lunch at the Main Lodge
• 1:30 -2:30 PM: Free time to explore or relax
• 2:30 – 3:00 PM: Load up to shoot the Barrett .50 Cal (2 shots per person) and tour the Living Military Museum OR Photo Safari #2.5
• 3:00 – 6:30 PM: Water Activities and Fishing OR relaxing by the pool
• 6:30 PM: Happy Hour with photo sharing at the main lodge
• 7:00 – 8:00 PM: Dinner in the Main Lodge
• 8:00 PM: Free time at the Main Lodge

Day Four: Thursday March 9, 2023 – Departure Day

Highlights

• 8:30 AM: Farewell Breakfast at the Main Lodge
• 9:30 AM: Taking a walk and having a final photo tour of the main lodge
• 10:30 – 11:00 AM: Packing up and checking out of the lodge
• 11:00 AM: Heading to the airport for flights home

• Barrett .50 cal shooting (2 shots per person)
• Skeet Shooting (25 shots per person)
• 4-Wheeler tour of the ranch (2 hours per guest, age 16 and above)
• Photo safari tour
• Feeding giraffe
• Dinosaur tracks
• Cave exploration
• Water activities away from the main compound including bass boats located at several key fishing holes

Free Activities in Compound Areas – No Guide Required:

• Swimming pool / Hot tub
• Tennis
• Basketball
• 9-Hole Putt-Putt golf course
• Surface arrowhead hunting
• Kayaking and paddle boarding
• Fishing for largemouth bass and catfish from shore or in kayaks – please bring your own rods, reels, and tackle (catch and release)
• Bird watching

Role of a Beatrice bradley hostess

Beatrice Bradley is an Experience Company not a Tour Company.  The role of a Beatrice Bradley Host is to be warm and welcoming. To relate and connect. To have attention to details. And to manage the behind-the-scenes magic so your experience is one-of-a-kind. They are not local experts nor are they tour guides. We hire local experts, guides, and historians as each location warrants. They are expert hosts and manage the camaraderie and logistics of the experience. Our goal is that your hostess will make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and that you will walk away with new & lasting friendships made during an unforgettable experience.

Airport Pick Up is included when arriving at the designated airport within the specified pick up window.

Departure Date:  March 9, 2023 – Departures after 3 pm
Drop off Times: Drop off at 1:00 pm – please fly out after 3:00 pm

As a solo-traveler, we need you to provide self-awareness and an understanding that you are fully responsible for yourself. This includes: your possessions, your physical abilities or fitness, your attitude, and all other aspects that relate to traveling solo in a group.

• If you need a roommate, we will happily pair you with another Beatrice Bradley traveler
• Travel insurance is not included. Beatrice Bradley is not a licensed travel insurance operator nor is our staff trained to in travel insurance. You can choose to purchase travel insurance through any licensed provider you choose. We will ask you upon booking if you would like us to send you some suggested licensed insurance companies.
