Day One: Arrival Day

Welcome to Washington! Please fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport before 3 pm.

Day Two: Whales and wildlife 

Today we get up close with the killer whales of Anacortes, the home port to the San Juan Islands, on this private, guided, whale-watching cruise. Led by naturalist guides and captains, climb aboard a Blackfish fleet vessel and travel through some of the most picturesque scenery in the Pacific Northwest searching for orca, humpback and gray whales. Along the way, see ocean wildlife in their natural environment, like seals, porpoises, sea lions and otters — plus a wide variety of birds and more.

  • Private, Guided Whale-watching cruise where we will see orcas, humpbacks, grays, and minkes

Day Three: All things tulips!

We have the amazing opportunity to tour three of the most famous Tulip Farms in Skagit Valley, including Tulip Town, Roozengaarde, and Skagit Valley Tulips!  Founded by Dutch immigrants, Tulip Town has been the jewel of Skagit Valley since 1984. We get the amazing opportunity to experience Tulip town when it is in full bloom. The Skagit Valley tulips are famous and truly a breathtaking sight to see and smell! After experiencing the amazing Tulip farms we will have time to explore, shop, and socialize with local culture in downtown Mount Vermon! To end off the day, we will have a delicious group dinner at a local restaurant in La Conner!

Day Four: San Juan Island!

San Juan Island is famous for its pristine beauty. One of the key highlights of the island is the opportunity to see diverse wildlife. Orca whales which can be spotted from the shore, along with seals, sea lions, bald eagles, and a myriad of bird species.

San Juan Island also has a rich cultural and historical background. Friday Harbor, the island’s main town, is home to charming art galleries, boutique shops, and a variety of restaurants that serve locally sourced food and seafood.

Here are examples of eight delightful stops we’ll make along the way:

1. Friday Harbor: Start your day in this picturesque harbor town, full of quaint shops, cafes, and galleries. The gateway to the island sets the tone for a day of discovery and enjoyment.

2. San Juan Island National Historical Park (American Camp): Wander through the park’s beautiful meadows, stunning beaches, and wooded trails while learning about the island’s unique history. The park offers a panoramic view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the distant Olympic Mountains.

3. Cattle Point Lighthouse: This scenic spot offers mesmerizing views of the surrounding seascape, with the historic lighthouse providing a picture-perfect backdrop.

4. Pelindaba Lavender Farm: Stroll through vibrant fields of lavender, enjoy aromatic products at the onsite store, and feel the tranquility the location offers.

5. Roche Harbor: This charming village offers an array of attractions, from beautiful gardens and historic buildings to a marina with beautiful yachts and boats.

6. San Juan Island Sculpture Park: Explore an open-air gallery displaying more than 150 sculptures within a 20-acre park.

7. Lime Kiln Point State Park: Known as “Whale Watch Park,” this location offers an excellent chance of spotting orcas in the wild. See the historic Lime Kiln Lighthouse, which doubles as a research station for studying whales.

8. Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm: Meet the friendly alpacas, and browse the country store featuring alpaca wool products. The opportunity to feed and pet the alpacas.

Day Five: – Departure Day

Please Depart from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Departure should be after 12:00 PM, with group drop off at 10:00 AM.

Highlights

  • Farewell breakfast at the hotel saying goodbye to new friends
  • Last minute shopping or exploring in La Conner 
  • Quick stop at one more Tulip Farm
  • Head to airport to catch your flight home

Step 2 Your $250 Deposit will be processed within 2 business days
Step 3 When you are ready to make a payment, click the “Review and Pay” button on your invoice
Step 4 Once clicked, in the top left of the invoice, next to the amount, you will see “Edit Amount.” Here you will be able to enter the amount you would like to pay
Step 5 Full amount needs to be paid by 60 days prior to the trip. *If there is a remaining balance at 60 days prior to the trip then an automatic payment for the remaining amount will be charged.

Beatrice Bradley is an Experience Company not a Tour Company.  The role of a Beatrice Bradley Host is to be warm and welcoming. To relate and connect. To have attention to details. And to manage the behind-the-scenes magic so your experience is one-of-a-kind. They are not local experts nor are they tour guides. We hire local experts, guides, and historians as each location warrants. They are expert hosts and manage the camaraderie and logistics of the experience. Our goal is that your hostess will make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and that you will walk away with new & lasting friendships made during an unforgettable experience.

  • Travel insurance is not included. Beatrice Bradley is not a licensed travel insurance operator nor is our staff trained to in travel insurance. You can choose to purchase travel insurance through any licensed provider you choose. We will ask you upon booking if you would like us to send you some suggested licensed insurance companies.
