Your adventure begins as you touch down at SeaTac Airport by noon, ready to embark on a journey of exploration and friendship. After meeting up with the group, we’ll whisk you straight into the heart of downtown Seattle. Get ready to dive into the sights, sounds, and flavors of one of the city’s most iconic spots: Pike Place Market. Fresh flowers, artisan crafts, and, of course, the famous flying fish will set the stage for a fun-filled afternoon. After settling into your luxurious stay at The Alexis Royal Sonesta, we’ll indulge in a dinner that’s anything but ordinary at The Pink Door – a lively, tucked-away Italian gem with a flair for fun!

Day Two: Coastal Charms & Whale Tales – From Seattle to Port Angeles
Rise and shine! Start your day with a delightful walk through the bustling heart of Seattle to The Crumpet Shop, where you’ll enjoy fresh, warm crumpets slathered with your choice of butter, honey, or jam – a true local favorite that’s the perfect morning pick-me-up. With a day full of scenic beauty ahead, we’ll load up the van and embark on a picturesque drive along the coast toward Port Angeles, but first, a stop in the charming town of Port Townsend. Here, we’ll kick off our shoes for a leisurely stroll along the sands of North Beach County Park, where you can hunt for sea glass, admire the Point Wilson Lighthouse, and maybe even spot an eagle soaring high above. The fresh ocean breeze will stir your appetite, so we’ll refuel with a mouthwatering lunch at Cafe Tenby, a hidden coastal gem known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious food.
With full hearts and full bellies, we’ll continue our coastal journey to Olympic Lodge by Ayres, where you’ll have time to freshen up and relax before our next big adventure – an afternoon whale-watching tour! We’ll pre-order a charcuterie board from Sea to Summit Catering, packed with tasty bites to enjoy on the boat as we sail into the shimmering waters, keeping our eyes peeled for orcas, gray whales, and even humpbacks. Feel the excitement as you scan the horizon for these majestic creatures, and take in the golden sunset over the Pacific as the perfect backdrop to an unforgettable evening. This day is all about embracing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest’s coast – with a touch of adventure and relaxation rolled into one!

Day Three: Majestic Mountains & Hidden Lakes – Exploring Olympic National Park
Today is all about embracing the natural beauty and wild wonders of Olympic National Park! After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, we’ll meet up with our knowledgeable local guide at 8 am, who will lead us on an unforgettable journey through some of the park’s most awe-inspiring spots. You’ll visit the stunning Sol Duc Falls, where the sound of cascading water fills the air, the crystal-clear Lake Crescent, whose deep blue waters reflect the towering peaks around it, and the breathtaking views from Hurricane Ridge, where you can take in sweeping panoramas of the mountains and valleys below. Along the way, we’ll pause for a delicious picnic lunch in the heart of the park – surrounded by nature’s finest.
As the sun begins to set, we’ll make our way to Nourish in Sequim, a delightful farm-to-table restaurant known for its locally sourced and sustainable menu. Indulge in a fresh and flavorful dinner, where the ingredients are as vibrant as the scenery you’ve experienced all day. Afterward, it’s time to return to Olympic Lodge for a well-deserved evening of relaxation – kick up your feet, reminisce about the day’s adventures, and get ready for another exciting day ahead!

Day Four: Waterfalls, Woodfired Pizza, & Waterfront Adventures – Journey to Union
Prepare for a day packed with nature’s wonders and local charm as we journey toward Union! After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we’ll hop in the van and head out. Our first stop is the serene Murhut Falls, where a short and enjoyable 1.5-mile hike will lead us through lush forests to this hidden two-tiered waterfall. Marvel at the peaceful surroundings as the water cascades down, creating the perfect backdrop for a refreshing start to the day.
Next, we’ll head over to Hook and Fork, a local favorite known for its fresh, farm-to-table cuisine. After a delightful lunch, we’ll wander next door to Union Market, where you can explore an array of local goodies, from handcrafted items to tasty regional treats – a great way to experience the unique culture of the area.
A short drive down the road brings us to the beautiful Alderbrook Resort and Spa, an idyllic waterfront escape on the shores of the Hood Canal. Spend the afternoon exploring the scenic grounds, whether it’s taking a walk by the water, discovering the tranquil gardens, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views of the canal. As evening approaches, we’ll gather for a mouthwatering dinner at the Hood Canal Beer and Wine Bar, where woodfired pizza and local wines await. Today is all about embracing the wild side of the Pacific Northwest! After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we’ll embark on a unique and exciting experience – a Wolfdog Sanctuary Tour. From 10 am to 11:30 am, you’ll walk among these magnificent creatures, learning about their behaviors and the incredible work being done to protect them. Get ready to feel the spirit of the wolf as you explore their natural habitat in this unforgettable encounter!
Next, we’ll head north to Lake Cushman to grab some fresh sandwiches from the cozy Lake Cushman Store before diving into our next adventure – a scenic hike along the Staircase Rapids Nature Loop. This 2-mile trail winds through ancient forests and alongside rushing rapids, providing breathtaking views and a refreshing outdoor escape. We’ll take our time soaking in the natural beauty of the Olympic National Park as we wander through the lush landscape, stopping to admire the roaring rapids and towering trees.
After the hike, we’ll enjoy a leisurely and scenic drive back to Union, where you can choose between a relaxing kayak paddle or a fun pedal boat ride on the serene waters of the Hood Canal. Whether you prefer gliding through the water or pedaling with friends, it’s a perfect way to unwind and connect with the peaceful surroundings.
We’ll wrap up the day with a delightful dinner back at the Alderbrook Resort, reminiscing about the day’s adventures over a delicious meal. This day is the perfect blend of wildlife encounters, outdoor exploration, and waterfront fun!

On this final day of our incredible Pacific Northwest journey, we start the morning with a peaceful nature walk for those who want to take in one last breath of fresh air before heading home. Whether you choose to join or simply enjoy a relaxing morning, the calm and beauty of the surroundings will prepare you for the day ahead.
After breakfast at Alderbrook Resort, we’ll set off toward the charming town of Gig Harbor, a picturesque waterfront community known for its historic harbor and stunning views. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the local favorite Devoted Kiss Cafe, where you can savor fresh, flavorful dishes while taking in the beautiful views of the harbor.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there! After lunch, we’ll take a short walk across the parking lot and tackle the Finholm View Climb, a staircase that rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of Gig Harbor and Mount Rainier. It’s a perfect spot to snap a few last photos and reflect on the incredible experiences of the trip.
With hearts full of adventure and new friendships, we’ll make our way to SeaTac for goodbyes and flights home. As we part ways, the memories of waterfalls, whales, wild wolves, and wonderful company will stay with you long after you return home.
