Day One: Touchdown in Salt Lake City – Gateway to Adventure!

Welcome to Salt Lake City, Utah—a vibrant mountain hub where adventure begins the moment you step off the plane! Whether you’re arriving with the sunrise or under a glowing desert sunset, take a deep breath of that crisp mountain air—you’re in for an unforgettable journey.

After grabbing your luggage, soak in the stunning backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains, a natural welcome mat to the wonders ahead. From here, we’ll get settled and kick things off with a relaxing evening, allowing you to unwind and meet your fellow travelers. If time allows, take a stroll around Temple Square or grab a bite in the city before we set off for the rugged beauty of Moab tomorrow.

Day Two: Scenic Drive to Moab – Gateway to Red Rock Country

Rise and shine! Today, we embark on a breathtaking drive from Salt Lake City to Moab, winding through Utah’s ever-changing landscapes—from snow-capped peaks to vast desert plateaus and winding river canyons. Keep your camera ready because every mile brings a new jaw-dropping view.

Along the way, we’ll stop for lunch and sightseeing, taking in dramatic overlooks and possibly spotting wildlife like bighorn sheep or soaring eagles. As we roll into Moab, you’ll instantly feel the energy of this adventure-packed town, surrounded by towering red rock formations and the mighty Colorado River. Get settled, explore the vibrant downtown, or grab a seat at a local eatery as we gear up for an incredible journey through the national parks!

Day Three: Off-Road Thrills & Sunset Wonders – A Moab Masterpiece

The morning kicks off with breakfast at the hotel, followed by your choice of an optional sunrise hike from our lodge or a little downtime to soak in Moab’s desert serenity. Then, buckle up—Moab’s most legendary off-roading adventure awaits!

Climb aboard for an adrenaline-pumping ride over Hell’s Revenge, a natural rollercoaster of slickrock, steep inclines, and breathtaking descents. Along the way, the landscape reveals deep canyons, prehistoric rock formations, and heart-racing drop-offs. We’ll pause atop a stunning overlook where the Colorado River winds through red rock cliffs, with Arches National Park’s spires standing proudly in the distance.

This afternoon, we explore Arches National Park, where time and nature have sculpted a surreal wonderland. As the sun sets, the sandstone formations ignite in fiery reds, deep oranges, and soft purples, painting a perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

Fun Fact: Moab’s slickrock terrain was once the bottom of a vast inland sea! Over millions of years, shifting sands and erosion sculpted the dramatic landscape we explore today.

Day Four: Giddy Up, Gals! Horseback Trails & Canyon Adventures

Saddle up for a true Western experience as we begin the morning on horseback at the Red Cliffs Corral. Meet your gentle, cowboy-trained quarter horse and our expert wrangler, who will ensure you feel comfortable before we set off. The ride takes us through the breathtaking Castle Creek Canyon, where the soft sounds of a flowing creek echo against towering 2,000-foot red rock cliffs. With each shallow creek crossing, the views only get more spectacular. This exclusive trail offers a rare sense of seclusion, making it a peaceful and awe-inspiring journey.

After the ride, we’ll return to the ranch, bid farewell to our horses, and have time to explore the Moab Museum of Film and Western Heritage, enjoy lunch on the River Deck, or take in the ranch’s tranquil scenery.

In the afternoon, we’ll regroup and set out on an adventure of the group’s choosing—whether it’s a scenic hike, a drive to a hidden gem, or more time exploring Moab’s incredible surroundings.

  • Horseback Adventure – Ride through Castle Creek Canyon with a professional wrangler, surrounded by stunning red rock cliffs.

Day Five: Canyonlands National Park – A Journey Through Time & Terrain

Rise early for a spectacular adventure into Canyonlands National Park, where the rugged beauty of the American Southwest unfolds before us. With vast mesas, dramatic cliffs, and winding river canyons, this park is a testament to time and nature’s artistry. Guided by our host, we’ll explore iconic viewpoints and hidden gems, taking in landscapes that seem to stretch endlessly beneath the desert sky.

From the famous Mesa Arch, glowing at sunrise, to the breathtaking Grand View Point, every stop offers a jaw-dropping glimpse into this untamed wilderness. We’ll witness the mighty Green and Colorado Rivers converge, carving deep into the earth, before making our way back to the hotel by evening.

Before heading out, we’ll grab a casual lunch in Moab, then begin our scenic drive north to Salt Lake City. Watch as the rugged desert landscape transforms into rolling valleys and snow-capped mountains, a perfect time to reflect on the incredible experiences shared over the past week. By evening, we’ll arrive at our airport hotel, ensuring a smooth and stress-free departure tomorrow.
