You can expect:

  • Fully scheduled days – From morning to evening, activities are designed to maximize your time without rushing the experience.
  • 1–3 miles of walking daily, often on paved walkways, gravel paths, shrine and temple grounds, and occasionally uneven terrain.
  • Standing for extended periods during guided tours of temples, castles, shrines, and cultural sites.
  • Light stair climbing at temples, castles, and shrines (many historic sites include steps or slopes).
  • Walking through busy city streets and historic districts, as well as forest paths such as bamboo groves and shrine walkways.

Day One: Arrival in Tokyo

Your adventure begins as you land at Narita or Haneda Airport and head into the heart of Tokyo. Settle into your hotel in the lively Ginza District, where luxury boutiques and neon lights meet timeless Japanese tradition.

    What if i want to skip an activity? - How important is it to be on time?

    You are never required to do all activities! Sometimes you need a little downtime, and you’re welcome to skip an activity if you’d prefer to rest or recharge. Just keep our hosts in the loop.
