After a relaxing breakfast at the Kimpton Monaco Hotel, we’ll hit the road for a fun and scenic road trip to Vail, where mountain views and charming stops await. Our first stop will be for lunch and shopping, or you can choose to visit a local waterfall for a peaceful nature moment and some great photo ops. Either way, it’s the perfect way to break up the drive and enjoy the beauty of Colorado!
Next, we’ll dive into the region’s fascinating history with a gold mine tour at the Capital Prize Gold Mine. Get ready to explore the underground tunnels, learn about the gold rush, and maybe even find a nugget or two! After the tour, we’ll stop for a quick bite at Enza’s Deli, a local favorite known for its delicious sandwiches.
In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in the beautiful town of Vail and check into the elegant Austria Haus Hotel, located right in the heart of Vail Village. You’ll have time to settle in and explore before we head out for a wonderful dinner at Mountain Standard, a cozy restaurant with a menu that showcases fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

This off-road adventure will give you unparalleled views of the Rockies, and a lunch will be provided as part of the tour. It’s a thrilling way to experience the backcountry beauty of Vail!
After returning from the Jeep tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Vail Village. Whether you want to indulge in a little shopping or simply enjoy the atmosphere, this afternoon is all about unwinding at your own pace.
In the evening, we’ll head to the Minturn Saloon for a memorable dinner. Known for its historic charm and delicious menu, this local favorite offers a cozy, rustic setting perfect for a relaxing meal.
To top off the evening, we’ll enjoy an ice cream nightcap at Sundae Ice Cream, where you can indulge in a sweet treat while reflecting on the day’s adventures.

After the ride, we’ll stop for a casual lunch at Joe’s Famous Deli, known for its delicious sandwiches and laid-back atmosphere. You’ll have time to relax and recharge before the next adventure.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the serene Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, the highest botanical garden in North America. Stroll through the beautifully maintained gardens and enjoy the vibrant displays of alpine flora, set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
