An Authentic Pilgrimage of
Faith, Friendship & Resilience for Women Over 45
Join a band of American women who love faith and freedom as we walk the sacred Camino de Santiago, tracing the path of pilgrims before us with purpose in every step.
Over 9 powerful days, you’ll walk the final stretch of the French Way on The Camino de Santiago.
With a tribe of courageous women, your own private guide, and a support vehicle by your side, we’ll walk about 5 miles a day—through timeless Spanish villages, lush countryside, and ancient cobblestone trails, all leading to the grand Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
Collect stamps in your official Pilgrim Passport, share stories, sip local wine, and reconnect with what truly matters.
This is a journey of the soul—for women who love God, love this country, and aren’t afraid to walk with boldness and grace.
This is your time. Your trail. Your triumph.
Let’s walk it together—step by step.
Because faith, freedom, and friendship are worth every mile.
“Can I do it?” Absolutely.
We walk up to 5 miles a day, but you walk as far as you want.
If one mile is a big accomplishment—we’re cheering you on.
Need a break? Hop in the support vehicle and ride to the next stop.
No pressure. Just support, faith, and sisterhood all the way to Santiago.

Trip Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Camino de Santiago?
The Camino de Santiago—also known as “The Way of St. James”—is a centuries-old pilgrimage trail leading to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, where the remains of the Apostle James are believed to be buried. People walk the Camino for many reasons: spiritual growth, reflection, healing, or simply the joy of doing something deeply meaningful.
We’ll be walking the final—and most popular—stretch, the French Way, from Sarria to Santiago.
How far will we walk each day?
We average about 5 miles a day. Some days are a little longer, others shorter. We walk at a steady, supportive pace with plenty of breaks. This is not a race. You are never expected to “keep up.” We walk together—or rest when needed.
What if I can’t walk one day or need a break?
You never have to walk more than you’re comfortable with. We have a private support vehicle following us daily. If you’re tired, dealing with sore feet, or just want to enjoy the scenery from the van, hop in—we’ll get you to the next stop while you still experience the journey.
What are the accommodations like?
We stay in charming, authentic Galician inns and rural homes—places full of character and history.
These aren’t luxury hotels, but they are clean, cozy, and comfortable, with private bathrooms in every room. You’ll feel welcomed and well cared for.
Will I have to carry my own luggage on the trail?
Your luggage will be transferred for you each day, so you only need to be able to carry a small daypack with essentials like water, snacks, and your pilgrim passport.
What is the Pilgrim Passport, and do I get a certificate?
Each woman will receive a Camino Credential (Pilgrim Passport) to collect stamps at various stops along the route. At the end, you’ll receive your official Compostela certificate, recognizing your journey. It’s a beautiful and emotional moment—one you’ll never forget.
Do I need to be a seasoned hiker to do this?
No. If you’re reasonably active and able to walk a few miles at a time, you can absolutely do this. The trail includes dirt paths, cobblestones, and a few gentle hills, but we take our time and support each other. If you’ve ever walked a few loops around your neighborhood or local park, you’re on the right track.
What kind of meals will we have?
Expect hearty, home-cooked meals featuring local Galician cuisine. It’s not gourmet, but it’s flavorful, nourishing, and satisfying. Think rustic stews, fresh bread, cheeses, and wine from the region.
Will there be time for prayer and reflection?
Yes. This is more than a trip—it’s a sacred experience. We intentionally build in time for quiet reflection, prayer, and meaningful conversation. Whether you’re walking through something big or simply craving peace, this journey offers space for your soul to breathe.
Who leads the trip?
You’ll be joined by two Beatrice Bradley hosts and our private Camino walking guide, who knows the trail inside and out. You’ll be fully supported—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—every step of the way.
