A day in the Blue Ridge Mountains, which includes several short, guided waterfall walks on natural trails—but you’re always welcome to skip a segment or rest as needed.

Time spent standing during guided tours, with your BB hostess making sure we pause often and support everyone’s comfort.
You don’t need to be a hiker or super fit to enjoy this trip—just comfortable being on your feet for parts of the day. You’ll always be supported, and we encourage you to do what you can, take breaks when needed, and enjoy the beauty at your own pace.

Day Two: Chasing Waterfalls in the Blue Ridge Mountains
Today, prepare for an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We’ll embark on a private Waterfall Hike & Jeep Excursion venturing deep into Pisgah National Forest, aptly nicknamed the “Land of Waterfalls.”
Climb aboard a custom-built, open-air Jeep designed for adventure and comfort. Our expert local guide will navigate us through rugged forest roads, unveiling a series of 4 to 5 breathtaking waterfalls—some well-known, others hidden gems off the beaten path. Along the way, we’ll embark on short, leisurely hikes, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the serene beauty of cascading falls, moss-covered rocks, and lush greenery.
As we traverse the trails, our guide will share fascinating insights into the region’s rich natural history, pointing out edible and medicinal plants, and perhaps even sharing tales of local folklore. Whether you’re an avid nature enthusiast or simply seeking tranquility, this excursion offers a perfect blend of excitement and relaxation.
After our adventure, we’ll return to Asheville with hearts full of wonder and cameras full of stunning photos.

Day Three: Biltmore Estate – Grandeur, Gardens & Gilded Age Charm
Today, step into another world—one of Gilded Age elegance, breathtaking landscapes, and Southern hospitality—at Biltmore Estate, the largest privately-owned home in America.
We’ll spend a full day exploring George Vanderbilt’s 8,000-acre masterpiece, beginning with The Biltmore House using the estate’s audio guide. With its 250 rooms, sweeping staircases, grand salons, and intimate personal spaces, the house offers a glimpse into America’s most opulent era—each room more dazzling than the last.
Afterward, we’ll stroll through the estate’s formal gardens, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the visionary behind Central Park. With spring in full bloom, expect vibrant floral borders, a lush conservatory bursting with exotic plants, and peaceful paths that invite slow, thoughtful wandering.
In the afternoon, you’ll have time to visit Antler Hill Village, where charming shops, galleries, and the estate’s famous winery await. Whether you choose to sample a few vintages, sit beneath the shade of century-old oaks, or browse the boutique offerings, this part of the estate provides the perfect finish to a truly luxurious day.

We’ll begin the day surrounded by the peaceful blooms of the Botanical Gardens at Asheville, a hidden gem dedicated to preserving native Appalachian plant life. Walk along gently winding trails and stone bridges as you learn about wildflowers, ferns, and woodland species that define the Blue Ridge region.
From there, the day opens up into a Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour of Asheville’s most beloved sights. With your Beatrice Bradley hostess and friends alongside you, explore at a relaxed pace while enjoying entertaining, narrated rides through the city’s most iconic neighborhoods.
Stop along the way at any of Asheville’s highlights—Grove Arcade, Montford Historic District, the River Arts District, or even Thomas Wolfe’s Memorial Home. You choose your adventure, whether it’s art, architecture, or a little local shopping.
Later in the afternoon, we’ll reconvene for a farewell gathering—a time to reflect on your favorite memories, exchange contact info with new friends, and celebrate a week well spent.
