Day One: A Coastal Arrival, A Change in Pace

Welcome to Newport… this is where it begins.

Arrive, settle in, and take a moment to take it all in—the salt air, the steady rhythm of the ocean, and that quiet sense of stepping into somewhere with history, presence, and purpose.

At the Newport Beach Hotel & Suites, you’re surrounded by water in a way that feels rare and intentional. To one side, the Atlantic rolls in against Easton’s Beach, with the distant outline of Newport’s grand mansions rising along the Cliff Walk. Turn the other direction, and everything softens—calm waters, coastal stillness, and a slower, more reflective rhythm.

Tonight is not about doing more—it’s about arriving well.

Take a walk along the shoreline, feel the shift in pace, and ease into the kind of place that doesn’t need to impress—it simply is. Newport has a way of revealing itself gradually, and this first evening sets the tone for everything that follows.

This is your first breath of it… your first moment of “this feels right.”

Because from here on out… it only deepens.

✨ And tomorrow? The Gilded Age comes to life.

  • Experience a rare dual-waterfront setting
  • Take in views of Easton’s Beach and the Cliff Walk mansions

Day Two: The Breakers, Cliff Walk & Historic Newport

Wake up beachfront with sweeping ocean views and the steady rhythm of the Atlantic. Enjoy breakfast overlooking the water before stepping into one of Newport’s most iconic experiences.

Today’s private tour takes you inside The Breakers, the grandest of the Gilded Age estates. Designed for Cornelius Vanderbilt II, this 70-room Italian Renaissance-style palazzo was built to impress at every level. With your private guide, you’ll move through soaring spaces, intricate details, and a story rooted in power, ambition, and legacy.

For lunch, you’ll stay right on the estate at the Breakers Café, where you can relax and take in the setting—just steps from the mansion and overlooking the grounds.

Afterward, take in the beauty of the Cliff Walk—where crashing waves meet the back lawns of Newport’s most famous mansions. You’ll explore a curated section of the trail, balancing scenery and ease while experiencing one of the most unique coastal walks in the country.

Tonight, the experience turns historic.

Day Three: The Elms, Marble House, Tea by the Sea & Newport After Dark

Wake up beachfront and enjoy another relaxed breakfast overlooking the water—the Atlantic steady, the setting as beautiful as ever.

This morning begins with a private guided tour of The Elms, one of Newport’s most refined and beautifully balanced estates. Modeled after an 18th-century French château, The Elms offers a deeper look into Gilded Age living—elegant on the surface, yet powered by an intricate behind-the-scenes world that kept everything running seamlessly.

From there, continue into the heart of Newport’s social legacy with your private tour of Marble House, one of the most striking and influential estates of the era. Built for William K. Vanderbilt, this architectural masterpiece is defined by its grand columns and extraordinary use of over 500,000 cubic feet of white marble. As you explore, you’ll hear how this home helped shape Newport’s social scene—where gatherings weren’t just events, they set the tone for an entire era.

Lunch is at the Chinese Tea House at Marble House, perched above the Cliff Walk with sweeping ocean views. This is more than a meal—it’s a true Newport experience. Enjoy a beautifully presented prix fixe tea service, complete with a welcome beverage, a tower of savory bites and sweets, and your choice of entrée. Elegant, scenic, and unforgettable.
