Every Beatrice Bradley trip is crafted to maximize the experiences had during the trip.
The itineraries are specially made to allow time for engaging in conversation and meeting new like-minded couples. We hope that the activities and experiences may allow you to come out of your comfort zone and to try new or unique things.
These trips are made to replicate a ‘couples get-away trip’. 

Itinerary Subject to Change 

Day One: Sunday, June 9, 2024 – Arrival Day

You will want to land in Sioux Falls, SD (FSD) by 3:00 pm for Airport pick to the Historic Thunderstik Lodge. Private aircraft can fly into Chamberlain or Mitchell Airports.

Thunderstik Lodge:  Kick back and relax with a cocktail and breathtaking views of the Missouri River from Thunderstik’s back porch. Scan the hills rolling down to the river for mule deer and other wildlife. The views are amazing! Nestled within the vast South Dakota grasslands, overlooking the majestic Missouri River, Thunderstik Lodge is South Dakota’s premier hunting and fishing Lodge. The Lodge offers 7,000 acres of private land with a diverse array of native habitats full of wildlife.

Highlights

• Arriving in Sioux Falls – the “Heart of America” by 3PM for Airport Pick-Up
• Historic Thunderstik Lodge welcome drinks, tour and room assignments.
• Warm up at the ranges Shooting Sporting Clays and Long-Range Rifle Shooting Ranges (optional) Learn gun safety and beginners shooting for those that are new to guns and hunting.   (50 BMG on site 1 shot included)
• Take a walk and tour the property which sits on the banks for the Missouri River and is home to a herd of buffalo. 
• Walleye Dinner will be served the lodge. 
• Sunset, Bonfires and bourbon after dinner with an ALL INCLUSIVE OPEN BAR. 
• Kyle your host is a professional photographer and will be taking photos – so bring your camera and Kyle can give you photography tips.
• Each couple will receive photos taken by Kyle (included).

Day Two: Monday, June 10, 2024 – Missouri River Fishing or Shopping, Lunch, and History Day

We have an onsite masseuse for in-room massages (additional charge).  THIS IS YOUR VACATION DO WHAT YOU WANT!

INSTRUCTION FOR THOSE NEW TO FIRMARMS.  LEARN FROM THE BEST!

Highlights

• Sunrise walk and coffee in lodge (if it’s chilly a roaring fire will be lit in the massive stone fireplace)
• Hot Breakfast Served at the Lodge
• Guided Walleye Fishing on the Scenic Missouri River in Chamberlain, SD:  You will fish two of SD’s best Walleye lakes, Lake Francis Case & Lake Sharpe.  With great guides & the top gear available, you are sure to catch your limit!
• OR for those that do not want to fish, you can have free time to relax at the lodge or we will go shopping, grab lunch in town and take in some small-town local history.
• A make-your-own box lunch for those fishing.
• Happy Hour with appetizers and bourbon or wine tasting
• Steak Dinner will be served at the lodge.
• After dinner we will relax, get to know each other and play cards or enjoy the sunset & sit by the bonfire

Day Three: Tuesday, June 11, 2024 – Fishing OR Badlands Tour Day

You will have a choice of either Walleye fishing the Missouri River OR head to The Badlands National Park for a private tour.

Guided Walleye Fishing on the Scenic Missouri River in Chamberlain, SD:  You will fish two of SD’s best Walleye lakes, Lake Francis Case & Lake Sharpe.  With great guides & the top gear available, you are sure to catch your limit!

Badlands National Park:  It’s dramatic landscapes span layered rock formations, steep canyons and towering spires. Bison, bighorn sheep and prairie dogs inhabit its sprawling grasslands.

Highlights

• Hot Breakfast together with the group at the lodge
• Choice of Guided Fishing on the Missouri River OR a tour of the Badlands National Park
• Picnic box lunch with the group while fishing or on the Badlands tour.
• Dinner at the lodge
• Nightcap at the bar and some poker or pool.

Day Four: Wednesday, June 12, 2024 – Pick 1 Day: Fishing or Gun Ranges and 4×4 Tour

Breakfast will be served at 8 am buffet style.  You will have a choice of either Walleye fishing the Missouri River and Ranges and 4X4 day.   

Highlights

• HOT Breakfast together with the group at the lodge
• Choice of Guided Fishing on the Missouri River or Ranges and 4X4 Touring the rolling hills along the river.
• Lunch served at the lodge.
• Farewell Dinner at the lodge 
• Nightcap at the bar and enjoying the sunset & having a bonfire

Day Five: Thursday, June 13, 2024 – Departure Day

Highlights

• Early morning range time or one last property walk
• Hot breakfast with the group at the lodge
• Heading to the airport with box lunches

Beatrice Bradley is an Experience Company not a Tour Company.  The role of a Beatrice Bradley Host is to be warm and welcoming. To relate and connect. To have attention to details. And to manage the behind-the-scenes magic so your experience is one-of-a-kind. They are not local experts nor are they tour guides. We hire local experts, guides, and historians as each location warrants. They are expert hosts and manage the camaraderie and logistics of the experience. Our goal is that your hostess will make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and that you will walk away with new & lasting friendships made during an unforgettable experience.

• Travel insurance is not included. Beatrice Bradley is not a licensed travel insurance operator nor is our staff trained to in travel insurance. You can choose to purchase travel insurance through any licensed provider you choose. We will ask you upon booking if you would like us to send you some suggested licensed insurance companies.
