Day 1 – Arrival and Settling In – We greet you at the Newport Airport!

Afternoon: Arrive and check into A Williamsburg White House Inn. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatizing.
Evening: Enjoy a serene dinner at the inn or explore local dining options nearby.

 

Day 2 – A Grand Christmastide Kickoff 

The day ahead promises to be filled with discovery and intrigue as they begin to unravel the rich tapestry of America’s past. The first stop is the Governor’s Palace, the grand residence of British colonial governors. Next, they’ll head to the Capitol, where echoes of legislative debates and mock court cases linger.  The exploration continues at the George Wythe House. As twilight falls, the group will gather for dinner, a delightful end to a day immersed in history.

  • Christmas Decorations: Enjoy a look at Colonial Williamsburg’s picturesque building exteriors and streets decked out in holiday splendor.
  • Talk of the Town Christmastide: With an 18th-century resident as your guide, walk about Williamsburg and experience the Christmastide season through their eyes.
  • Morning exploration of the Governor’s Palace, the grand residence of British colonial governors.
  • The Art-full Tree
  • The Williamsburg Christmas Market is a village-like setting reminiscent of the traditional European Christmas market, with over 30 vendors and entertainment.
  • Scrumptious dinner together.

Day 3 – Journey to Jamestown

The day begins with a delicious breakfast before setting off for Historic Jamestowne. On arrival, the group will delve into the story of the first permanent English settlement in North America. At Jamestown Settlement’s Powhatan Indian Village, English Ships, and Colonial Fort, they will step back in time to the beginnings of colonial America.  As the day winds down, we’ll head back to Williamsburg. As twilight falls, we will embark on a chilling ghost tour, hearing tales of hauntings from the colonial era. The day concludes with a delectable dinner, ending another day rich with historical insights and a touch of the supernatural.

Day 4 – Williamsburg Christmas Grand Illumination

Today we will spend in Colonial Williamsburg enjoying the many Christmas events the town offers. We will have a special Grand Illumination Dinner together before witnessing the grand fireworks display over the Capital and Governer’s Palace. 

Highlights

  • Performance: Of Christmas Past A British servant, newly arrived in the colony, reflects on his life and the holiday customs, traditions, and celebrations he has left behind in the mother country.
  • Special Event: Grand Illumination: Throughout the Historic Area, Colonial Williamsburg musicians, performers, and community ensembles entertain holiday merrymakers with the pomp and pageantry of the Fifes & Drums of Colonial Williamsburg, festive song, storytelling, puppetry, the lighting of cressets, and more, culminating in two simultaneous 18th-century-style fireworks displays at the Capitol and Governor’s Palace.
  • Enjoy a farewell dinner

Day 5 – November 12th: Departure

After a leisurely breakfast at the inn, the group will prepare to bid farewell to the historical charm of Williamsburg. Packed with new knowledge, memorable experiences, and the shared camaraderie of the journey, they’ll check out and embark on their journey home.

Step 2 Your $250 Deposit will be processed within 2 business days
Step 3 When you are ready to make a payment, click the “Review and Pay” button on your invoice
Step 4 Once clicked, in the top left of the invoice, next to the amount, you will see “Edit Amount.” Here you will be able to enter the amount you would like to pay
Step 5 Full amount needs to be paid by 60 days prior to the trip. *If there is a remaining balance at 60 days prior to the trip then an automatic payment for the remaining amount will be charged.
