Lights, Nutcracker & Holiday Magic at The Trump Hotel

Picture walking into more than a million lights, a forty-two-foot Christmas tree topped with a single crystal star, and a whole city lit up for the season the way you always pictured Christmas should look. That’s the backdrop for this trip. Five days built around the true spirit of the holiday, celebrated with women who love Christmas exactly the way you do. New friends, a live Nutcracker, hot chocolate under glowing lights, and a celebration built for exactly this moment.

Day 1: Welcome to Christmas in Las Vegas – Let the Holiday Magic Begin

You check into the Trump International Hotel, sixty-four stories above the Strip, decorated top to bottom for Christmas. This is where the trip actually begins, the moment you walk into a lobby full of women who already believe what you believe. That Christmas is worth celebrating out loud, together, with people who feel the same way about faith, family, and this country.

Happy hour comes first, poolside, with the Strip stretched out in front of you and a drink in hand. This is where you meet the women you’ll spend the next five days with, and by the time happy hour winds down, they already feel like your people.

Then it’s time to change and head to DJT Restaurant for a real Christmas dinner. Good food, a table full of women, and a night spent saying “Merry Christmas” and meaning it.

Day 1 Highlights

• Happy Hour by the Pool – Drinks in hand, poolside, with the Strip out in front of you and the women who’ll be your people for the rest of the trip.
• Dinner at DJT Restaurant – A real Christmas dinner with a table full of women who say “Merry Christmas” and mean it.

Fun Christmas Fact: This year marks the 33rd year Ethel M has lit up its cactus garden for Christmas, with more than a million lights strung through the desert. We walk through it on Day 2.

Day Two: Hoover Dam to a Sweet Christmas Glow

The day starts outside the city, at Hoover Dam. Your guide walks you through the Power Plant Tour, through the tunnels workers carved by hand during the Great Depression, and into the Generator Room, where the scale of the thing is impossible to fake in photos. From the overlook, Lake Mead spreads out below you, the largest reservoir in the U.S., desert and water meeting right at the edge of the view.

As the sun goes down, we head to Ethel M Chocolates. Their three-acre Cactus Garden, Nevada’s largest, is in its 33rd year of lighting up for Christmas, strung with more than a million lights through the cacti and desert blooms. Hot chocolate in hand, you walk the trails under all of it.

Inside, a chocolate tasting closes out the evening. Real confections, made on site, sampled in a room built for exactly that. It’s the kind of ending that turns a day of Hoover Dam and Lake Mead into something sweeter.

Day 3: From Fremont Thrills to a Night at Enchant

Breakfast is slow this morning, coffee in hand, before the day pulls you downtown to Fremont Street. Neon stretches overhead instead of resort towers, the kind of Vegas that was here before the Strip ever existed.

For anyone who wants it, the SlotZilla Zoomline sends you flying 114 feet above the street at 40 miles an hour, stretched out horizontal in a Superman position for the full 1,750-foot run down Fremont. It’s been flying riders since 2014 and passed its millionth years ago. If that’s not for you, there’s just as much to take in with both feet on the ground.

From there, the Mob Museum pulls you into the actual federal courthouse where Senator Estes Kefauver held his 1950 hearings on organized crime, hearings that drew 20 to 30 million TV viewers, twice the audience of that year’s World Series. Inside, three floors of real exhibits carry the story forward, from tommy guns to the wiretaps that ended it.

By the time night falls, Enchant Las Vegas is lit up and waiting. A light maze built from thousands of square feet of hand-built sculptures, a real ice rink to skate a lap on, a Christmas market to shop, seasonal treats to warm up with, and a photo with Santa before the night is over.

• The Mob Museum – Walk into the actual federal courthouse where the 1950 Kefauver hearings exposed the Mob’s grip on Vegas to 20 to 30 million TV viewers, then move through three floors of tommy guns, wiretaps, and the real story of how it ended.
• Enchant Las Vegas – Wander a light maze built from thousands of square feet of hand-built sculptures, skate a lap on real ice, shop the Christmas market, warm up with seasonal treats, and get your photo with Santa.

Fun Fact: Fremont Street was paved in 1925, and the Northern Club, right on this street, became the first casino licensed after gambling was legalized in 1931. Today the canopy above it stretches 1,375 feet, wrapped in 49.3 million LED lights.

Day 4: Vegas Elegance and Christmas Enchantment

Breakfast is easy this morning, before the day turns toward one of the most photographed spots on the Strip. At the Bellagio, the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are dressed for Christmas, a 14,000-square-foot room where a 42-foot tree rises over 20,000 poinsettias, all placed by 80 people in six days flat. Outside, the fountains run their show right on schedule, water and music timed to the second.

From there, the High Roller lifts you 550 feet above the Strip in one of its 28 glass pods, on the wheel that broke the world record for tallest observation wheel the day it opened in 2014. A slow thirty-minute rotation puts the whole city under you before you’re back on the ground.

In the afternoon, we go back to the Neon Museum, this time in daylight. More than 250 retired signs, from the original Stardust to the Sahara, easier to read letter by letter, bulb by bulb, with the sun still up.

We close the day at The Nutcracker. A real seat, a live orchestra, and Tchaikovsky’s score played the way it was written. A night that ends exactly the way Christmas is supposed to feel.

Day Five: Farewell, Friends — Until We Meet Again

Coffee comes easy this last morning, breakfast at the Trump International Hotel, in the tallest residential tower in Las Vegas, 640 feet above the Strip you’ve spent four days walking. This is the last quiet stretch before goodbyes, and there’s no rush to it.

Everyone lingers over that last cup, trading phone numbers, planning who’s texting who first, and getting the photo nobody wants to forget to take. Five days ago this was a room full of strangers. Now it’s a group text that isn’t going anywhere.

Nobody’s rushing you out the door. The bags get packed, the car comes when it comes, and the only thing left on the list is saying goodbye to people who already feel like old friends.
