    Day One: Welcome to Colorado – Where the Adventure Begins

    The mountains are calling as we gather in Denver, Colorado, the gateway to the Rockies. Upon arrival at Denver International Airport, your Beatrice Bradley hosts will be there to greet you and help you settle into the relaxed rhythm of the days ahead.

    Leaving the city behind, we’ll travel west toward the foothills and the charming town of Golden, where historic streets, mountain views, and Colorado hospitality create the perfect introduction to our journey. Nestled along Clear Creek and surrounded by rugged peaks, Golden offers a welcoming blend of small-town character and Rocky Mountain beauty.

    After checking into our hotel, there’s time to unwind and soak in your first taste of Colorado before we come together for a special Welcome Dinner. Share stories, meet your fellow travelers, and raise a glass to the adventures waiting just around the corner.

    Day Two: A Day of Wonder in Rocky Mountain National Park

    Beyond the foothills and into the high country, today reveals some of Colorado’s most spectacular scenery – soaring mountain peaks, alpine tundra, charming mountain towns, and the unforgettable landscapes of Rocky Mountain National Park.

    Traveling through the Front Range, we’ll enjoy views of the dramatic Flatirons before climbing higher into the Rockies. Inside the park, we’ll journey along legendary Trail Ridge Road, a breathtaking alpine highway that rises above treeline and delivers sweeping views in every direction. Keep watch for elk grazing in mountain meadows, marmots perched on rocky outcrops, and colorful wildflowers scattered across the tundra.

    A stop at the iconic Stanley Hotel offers a glimpse into one of Colorado’s most famous landmarks, known for its grand architecture and connection to Stephen King’s The Shining. Later, we’ll spend time in Estes Park, strolling its charming downtown, exploring scenic overlooks, and soaking in the relaxed mountain-town atmosphere.

    Colorado’s rich history and dramatic landscapes take center stage today as we explore a charming mountain town and one of the most remarkable natural amphitheaters on Earth.

    We’ll begin in Golden, Colorado, where frontier heritage meets modern mountain-town charm. Stroll historic streets lined with local boutiques, art galleries, and inviting cafés while soaking in the relaxed atmosphere that has made Golden one of Colorado’s most beloved communities.

    Later, we’ll make our way into the foothills for a visit to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Towering sandstone monoliths rise dramatically from the landscape, creating a natural stage unlike any other in the world. Take time to explore the surrounding trails, admire sweeping views of the Front Range, and discover why this iconic venue has become one of Colorado’s most treasured landmarks.

    Leaving the foothills behind, today takes us south along Colorado’s Front Range toward the striking landscapes and rich history of Colorado Springs.

    Upon arrival, we’ll check into The Mining Exchange, one of the city’s most celebrated historic hotels. Originally built in 1902 during Colorado’s mining boom, this beautifully restored landmark blends Gilded Age architecture with modern luxury, creating a memorable home base for the next chapter of our journey.

    This afternoon, we’ll spend time exploring nearby Manitou Springs, a charming mountain town known for its natural mineral springs, colorful storefronts, and artistic spirit. Wander historic streets, browse local shops, and soak in the character that has drawn visitors here for generations.

    As evening settles in, we’ll gather for a hosted group dinner in Colorado Springs, sharing stories from the road and looking ahead to the adventures still to come.

    Rising more than 14,000 feet above sea level, Pikes Peak has inspired travelers for generations and earned its nickname as America’s Mountain. Today’s journey takes us high into the Rockies for one of Colorado’s most iconic experiences.

    Board the historic Pikes Peak Cog Railway and settle in for a spectacular ride through forests, alpine tundra, and rugged mountain scenery. As the train climbs higher, sweeping views unfold in every direction, revealing the dramatic landscapes that have made this region famous.

    At the summit, take time to explore the Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center, enjoy panoramic views stretching across Colorado, and capture that unforgettable mountaintop photo. After descending, we’ll return to Colorado Springs for a relaxing evening and another opportunity to share stories from the day’s adventures.

    Day Six: Day Six: Ride Through the Gorge… Then Soar Above It!

    Today’s journey takes us to one of Colorado’s most dramatic natural landscapes – the spectacular Royal Gorge.

    We’ll travel to Cañon City and board the historic Royal Gorge Route Railroad, following the winding Arkansas River through the heart of the canyon. Towering granite walls rise more than 1,000 feet overhead as the train makes its way through one of the most scenic stretches of railroad in the American West.

    Later, we’ll experience the gorge from a completely different perspective at Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Cross one of the highest suspension bridges in the United States, take in breathtaking views of the canyon below, and enjoy a ride aboard the aerial gondola as it glides high above the river.

    This evening, we’ll return to Colorado Springs for a lively group dinner, sharing stories from the day’s adventures and enjoying one more memorable night together in the heart of Colorado.

    Later, we’ll gather for an early dinner before setting off on an open-air Jeep tour through the foothills surrounding Colorado Springs. As the evening light settles across the landscape, we’ll journey through Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon Park, and the charming mountain town of Manitou Springs, stopping along the way to take in the scenery and learn about the region’s history.

    As the sun begins to set, the red rock formations glow against the Colorado sky, providing a memorable conclusion to our time in the Rockies.

    What if i want to skip an activity? - How important is it to be on time?

    You are never required to do all activities! Sometimes you need a little downtime, and you’re welcome to skip an activity if you'd prefer to rest or recharge. Just keep our hosts in the loop. 

    Being on time is also very important. We run a thoughtful schedule to make sure everyone gets the most out of each day. Out of respect for your fellow travelers and our guides, we ask that you arrive on time and ready to roll so we can keep the adventure smooth and stress-free for all!

    What can I expect from a Beatrice Bradley Host?

    Our Beatrice Bradley hosts are the glue that holds each trip together. They understand how intimidating solo travel can feel, and they’re dedicated to making your experience warm, welcoming, and full of laughter. From the moment you arrive, they’ll be there with a smile—helping you settle in, making introductions, and setting the tone for a fun and connected adventure.

    Our hosts aren’t just handling logistics—they’re the heart of the journey. They create a sense of community, offer support, and help every woman feel seen, included, and valued.

    Please note: our hosts are not local tour guides—we hire local experts for that. In some cases, it may even be their first time in the destination, just like you! While they’re often going above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you treat them with respect. They are not personal assistants or luggage porters—they are your fellow travelers, dedicated to making this trip unforgettable for everyone.

    How does tipping work?

    We take care of all standard tips for included meals, local guides, and drivers—so you don’t need to worry about those details.

    If you’d like to show appreciation to your Beatrice Bradley host, gratuities are always welcome but never expected. A general guideline is $5–$10 per day, per host, depending on your experience. Most guests find it a meaningful way to say thank you for the care, energy, and fun our hosts bring to each trip!
