This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land | Beatrice Bradley

Excerpts from:

This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest, to the Gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me

And I went walking that ribbon of highway
And saw above me that endless skyway
I saw below me the golden valley
This land was made for you and me

I roamed and rambled and followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me, a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me
……
When the sun come shining, then I was strolling
In wheat fields waving and dust clouds rolling
The voice was chanting as the fog was lifting
This land was made for you and me
……

Written and sung by Woody Guthrie Circa 1940

Woody Guthrie wrote one of our country’s most iconic folk songs “This Land is My Land, This Land Is Your Land” in 1940. Who would have thought that his words would be so prescient to today’s life experience?

After an abrupt and too long shutdown of our lives, impacting us in so many ways, we are emerging and craving to get back to our lifestyle. For those of us women who loved travel and have just reached the age we are able to do more of it, life seemed to place a cruel barrier in front of us.

Fear Not fellow travelers, Beatrice Bradley Adventure Travel wants to take you from Redwood Forests to Gulf Stream waters and way beyond. We look for special places that will provide unique, even bucket list worthy venues for all of us to explore. Our motto is BE FEARLESS, EMBRACE ADVENTURE, just as my Grandmother Beatrice Bradley did before me. She taught me get out there and explore life, to love meeting new people and experiencing new places.

We have crafted an “ I LOVE AMERICA NATIONAL LANDMARK TOUR”. We are exploring our Nation’s first capital, Annapolis, Maryland steeped in Naval Tradition, in December. We will follow up that trip with a visit to the Sunshine State (Mesmerizing Miami & the Florida Keys in January and Florida’s Hidden Gem- Crystal River and a swim with the Manatees). Both of Florida’s locales have played a big part of our nation’s history. We move onto the lovely and storied Texas Hill country for back-to-back adventure with our Photographic Safari at a very special Ranch and a ride through the Bluebonnets/ visit to Boerne, Texas. In April, we travel to Historic Charleston and Savannah for Southern hospitality found nowhere but in the low country. The months of May/June feature trips in the Midwest with a Badlands of South Dakota visit including a stay at Historic Thunderstik lodge, a tour of the Minnesota Gilded Age mansions in St.Paul including a visit to the massive playground called the Mall of America and Prince’s iconic Paisley Park. Finally for our last stop in the Midwest, we kick back and play at the lovely and 100yr+ historic Grandview Lodge on Gull Lake in Nisswa, Minnesota. We had so much fun this past September with our first group to visit Grandview that we added a second trip the last week of August too! We have a great trip to Alaska and finish out September with a trip to Montana, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

Our trips provide you with a history lesson about where we are traveling, whenever possible we stay in historic accommodations and right in the middle of activities. If you would like to travel and make new friends, have all the trip details provided for you with great activities, special to the area, then you should come on a tour with Beatrice Bradley Adventure Travel. We are a great group of conservative women who hold dear our great America.

SPECIAL BONUS: If you travel on two trips within six months we will give you a discount of 10% on the second trip.
