We have put together a great visit to the beautiful Brainerd lakes area of Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 lakes. This has been a tourist favorite for many, many years and luckily we have secured accommodations at The Historic Grandview Lodge Resort on beautiful Gull Lake. Water activities, biking through the lovely wooded areas, scenic pontoon boat rides and intimate, lakeside dinners are all part of this wonderful experience. Grandview Lodge is a full service resort with an aquatic center for heated pool swimming and a beautiful beach at the lake. All the equipment you need to play in the water or on land is provided and when you want some down time you can visit their famous spa.

Trip Overview
Day 1 – Please arrive at MSP by 2pm, if possible. We will pick you up at the terminal and depart MSP at 3:00pm. We will travel by group via van to the Northwoods. We will arrive at Grandview Lodge on Gull Lake at the expansive cottage nestled in the woods, around 5:30pm. You will have a little down time prior to assembling as a group at 7:00pm to go to dinner. We will have dinner at the Grandview Lodge’s Char Restaurant.
Today’s Highlights:
- Driving up the Northwoods and getting settled at the beautiful Historic Grandview Lodge on Gull Lake
- Welcome dinner at one of Grandview Lodge’s fabulous restaurants
Day 2 – We will gather for breakfast at 8-9:30 am to enjoy our new friends all gathering for a fabulous breakfast at our cottage. After breakfast, we will have an event, “The Amazing Race” and we will divide into teams to get to know each other! Then, we will head to the fun town of Nisswa to shop and lunch will be “on your own” in Nisswa. After lunch, we will rent bikes and will ride some of the trails. We will gather back at the cottage at 5pm for a Happy Hour with beverages/snacks. Dinner will be lakeside at the Tanque Verde Cantina on the Grandview Lodge Beach.

- Breakfast with the group at the cottage
- “The Amazing Race” Team Building Event
- Shopping and “lunch on your own” in the cute town of Nisswa
- Riding bikes and enjoying the trails in the Northwoods of MN
- Happy Hour at the cottage and dinner with the group at Tanque Verde Cantina at Grandview Lodge Beach
Day 3 – We will gather for breakfast at 8:30-9:30am. After breakfast, we will enjoy the activities that Grandview Lodge has to offer – paddleboarding, playing pickleball, relaxing, etc. A special afternoon and evening with beach time, pontoon rides and dinner is planned at a private 100 year old cottage. After dinner, we will sit around the fire and make S’mores.
Today’s Highlights:
- Breakfast with the group at the cottage
- Enjoying activities at Grandview Lodge – paddleboarding, playing pickleball, etc
- A special afternoon & evening at a 100-yr old cottage with a fabulous pontoon ride, laketime and dinner
- Sitting by the fire after dinner and making S’mores
Day 4 – We will gather for breakfast at 8:30 – 9:30am. After breakfast, we will enjoy the activities that Grandview Lodge has to offer – paddleboarding, playing pickleball, relaxing, etc. Lunch will be at the cottage. In the afternoon, we will have a fun Beach Party at the Grandview Lodge Beach with Banana Boat rides and lots of fun. After dinner, we will sit around the fire and make S’mores.

- Breakfast with the group at the cottage
- Enjoying activities at Grandview Lodge – paddleboarding, playing pickleball, etc
- Beach Party at the Grandview Lodge Beach with Banana Boat Rides, paddleboarding, kayaking, and lots of laughs!
- Goodbye Dinner at a fun location
- Sitting by the fire after dinner and making S’mores
Day 5 – Breakfast will be at 8:00-9:00 am at the main dining room at The Historic Grandview Lodge. You will also have time to take a last dip in the lake, etc. The van departs back for MSP airport at 11:00am, arriving at MSP at 1:30pm for afternoon departures.

- Last morning breakfast with the group at the main dining room at Grandview Lodge
- Time for a last minute dip in the lake
- Heading back to MSP for afternoon departures

- Full Trip Balance is due if the Trip is passed the payment plan window of 90 days
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival forfeits entire payment.
- Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival a 50% fee charged and balance is held on credit for future travel.
- Cancellations made 90 days prior to the event full refund is given and Deposit is transferred to a new trip of choosing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can not find an arrival flight before designated arrival window?
Our trips are typically only 4-6 days in length so we really try to make the most out of our time together. The first night we host a special Welcome Dinner where you really kick off the fun and start to get acquainted. However, we understand that it is not always possible to find a flight that works. There are a few options.
1. let our team know ASAP and it’s possible we can accommodate for it. In some situations there is a hotel shuttle or taxi that can be taken. However, some airports are too far from our destination for shuttle or taxi services, so it is important that you let our team know ASAP
2. Arrive a day early
- You will be responsible for your own transportation and hotel arrangements during that time
- Please let our team know if you would like to stay at the same hotel and we can help arrange it
What if I can not find a departure flight before designated departure window?
Our trips are typically only 4-6 days in length so we really try to make the most out of our time together. We have scheduled tours or meals the day of departure so it is possible that if you have a flight earlier than designated departure time that you will miss part of the tour. We would recommended tying to stay an extra night. Please note that you are responsible for all ground transportation for your departure if your departure is outside of designated window.
