Welcome to the Isle of Palms just outside Charming Charleston

The Stay – A Beach Front Experience, 15 minutes outside Charming Charleston

Day One: Arrival Day – Let’s Settle into our Ocean Front Mansion

Fly into Charleston International Airport CHS by 3:00 PM. Check into the house at 4:00 PM.

Our breathtaking Beachfront Mansion at Isle of Palms, SC is our haven for the week. Feel the ocean breeze from the large deck and hear the waves crashing against the shore. A warm welcome dinner sets the tone for a week filled with shared experiences and new discoveries.

After exploring Charleston’s culinary treasures, return to our beachfront retreat for a delightful Seashell Jewelry-Making Party hosted by a local artisan. Design unique, wearable keepsakes using locally sourced seashells while enjoying a beautifully arranged charcuterie board. Sip wine, savor gourmet bites, and let your creativity flow as you craft a piece of Charleston to take home.

Evening Beach Stroll
As the day winds down, take a peaceful evening stroll along the beach with your fellow travelers. Day Three: Immerse yourself in the beauty and wildlife of Capers Island on our eco tour Plus a Classic Low Country Beach Cookout!

Do you like the sound of fresh local shrimp, smoked sausage, sweet corn, red potatoes, and onions all boiled perfectly together in special seasonings served to you on a beautifully pristine beach?

Venture to Capers Island Heritage Preserve, a pristine barrier island only reachable by boat that is just north of Charleston, South Carolina. We will cruise through winding tidal creeks to find diverse wildlife living in this salt marsh ecosystem. Your naturalist guide will explain all about our local ecology and wildlife encountered along the way. Common sightings include bottlenose dolphins, bald eagles, and numerous shore and wading birds

Along the way we’ll employ nets and traps for an up-close look at some of the marine life that thrives below the surface. As you arrive on the island, you are free to explore it’s astounding natural landscape, “Boneyard Beach”and interior trails and ponds.

Cruise to Capers Island’s North Beach, where you have time to explore and shell hunt while we prepare lunch for you! Hamburgers and hot dogs can be prepared for non-seafood eaters.

Day Four: Calling all Patriots to Patriots Point

As patriotic women we will embark on a journey to Patriots Point, a naval and maritime museum located on Charleston Harbor. We will explore a fleet of National Historic Landmark ships, including the USS Yorktown, a renowned World War II aircraft carrier. Its a day to feel prideful and appreciative as we see ships and aircraft that showcase the fearlessness of the military and gain insights into the sacrifices made by our armed forces. We take the day to reflect and respect the bravery and dedication in our nation’s military history, enriching each woman’s understanding and appreciation of the sacrifices made for our freedom.

Day Five: A Day in Charleston

After breakfast at the house we’ll be Fueled and ready to explore the Charming city of Charleston. We will start off with a picturesque carriage ride, where every cobblestone and corner had a story to share, revealed by our well-versed guide.

Post-ride, we will wonder the harbor side, exploring quirky shops and taking in the charm of Charleston. Discovering treasures and sampling local bites, we will immerse ourselves in Charleston’s unique culture. As we wrap up our day we will load up and head back to the house.

Imagine waking up to the sound of waves and stepping out from our beachfront house straight onto the soft, golden sand. With coffee or tea in hand, join your hosts for a peaceful morning walk along the shore, and the beauty of the Isle of Palms sets the tone for an unforgettable day.

Step Into History at Boone Hall Plantation
Experience Charleston’s rich past at Boone Hall Plantation, one of America’s most iconic landmarks. Stroll beneath the majestic live oak avenue, explore the historic mansion, and take in the beauty of lush gardens. We will take a expert guided tour of the Boone Hall to get the very most out of this part of history.

Fly out of CHS Airport. Group Drop off will be at 10:00 AM. Please book flight accordingly. If you’d like to be at the airport earlier, transportation will be at your own expense.
