Review: I liked the small group setting. We were able to get to know each other better. Group travel offers opportunity to share experiences with like minded women. Easier to get to know each other. When speaking with other women we discovered we are more alike than not. I understand it’s not easy to get out of your comfort zone but when you do it’s worth the effort! Go for it! I want to again thank Connie and Kelly for all their hard work and making Aruba an unforgettable experience!

Review: At our last dinner together I realized how much these beautiful women meant to me. Sharing this wonderful trip and getting to know each of them made my adventure in Europe even more memorable. At our last dinner together I realized how much these beautiful women meant to me. Sharing this wonderful trip and getting to know each of them made my adventure in Europe even more memorable. I was a little overwhelmed at first because I’m shy with people I don’t know. But Natalie and Ellen were wonderful and I soon felt a part of the group. in fact at the end of the trip it was hard to say goodbye to these ladies and I know I’ll keep in touch with all of them. Natalie was amazing, greeting us every morning with her beautiful angelic glow and smile. Ellen was the caboose and kept us together, which at times it seemed like she was hurting cats. With women and shopping and everyone going in different directions. Natalie put her heart and soul into this trip, she was an awesome host and thanks to her diligent planning it turned into an unforgettable adventure.

Review: I absolutely bonded with Ellen & Natalie our 2 hosts and Catherine from Oregon & I had a lot in common & we really bonded too. Everyone was great and I enjoyed my time with ALL the ladies! We all loved seeing places where they filmed scenes from Sound of Music in Salzburg. We also loved the Christmas markets and all the neat finds we had plus the yummy restaurants too. You should give it a try, you will probably love it and feel so glad you stepped out of your comfort zone & now have many new friends and memories & new adventures too! Both Ellen & Natalie were amazing hosts. They checked out many of our experiences before had so they could veto the ones we wouldn’t enjoy and make plans for the great ones. They both went “above & beyond” to make the entire trip something to remember forever!

Review: Each woman brought her own uniqueness to this experience. It was fun to talk and share stories with each and every one of them. The comradery was amazing. I felt like I’d know them all along. Everything on this trip exceeded my expectations. Just the openness and shared experiences made it a fun and a relaxing trip. Like I was traveling with old friends. The hosts Sharon and Laura were amazing. They made the trip extra special with their kindness and great organizational skills. It rained the first three days but that didn’t effect anything we did. I was skeptical as first. But, you only live once. Just embrace the situation and be open, kind and adaptable for whatever happens. It was a wonderful experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Everything we did was well thought out, adaptable when needed and was so much fun. Thank you for creating such a fun way for solo travels. Sharon and Laura were truly amazing. They were easy to talk with, adaptable if needed and kept everything on track. They are the ones that made this trip extra special.

Review: I enjoyed talking with each of the women in this group. It was wonderful to get to know everyone from different places and to hear a bit about their life and/or work. The Rockettes was definitely the highlight of the trip for me. It was even better than I expected. This had been on my bucket list for years and I am so grateful that I was able to see this as part of this trip!! Everyone is a bit nervous. Knowing this, we all came together and their was an effort made by each to get to know one another. Bottom line, is that you don’t have to make friends with everyone. There will be those who you will connect with a little more. Sharon and Laura were wonderful hosts. Sharon was so in tune with everyone and made sure to talk and include each person in this group. I am very thankful for her.

Review: Meaningful connection with the hostess, Karen, who supported me when I was experiencing high blood pressure and who arranged for me to be shuttled back to the lodge when I needed to rest or skip a meal or activity. This is the most non-threatening adventure I have ever been on. Very welcoming. All planning handled. Always accounted for. Good camaraderie! Thanks to both Karen and Wynndy who did everything to make us feel included and special and to have fun. They always patiently answered my questions and gave me explanations that i needed. Both have big hearts and are delightful company!

Review: I knew some of the ladies from previous trips and met some new friends. We were all met at the airport by BB staff and became friends right away. The hostesses Wynndy and Karen couldn’t have been any better. They have a special gift for putting everyone at ease and facilitating camaraderie among everyone there. I never felt alone or awkward. If you are considering traveling as a single woman, do it. The friends I have made will be lifelong friends and they will be for you, too. One of my favorite moments on my first trip was being met at the airport by my BB hostess and the warm welcome I received. Never an awkward moment. Airport welcomes are still my favorite. I also love breakfast. Breakfast is a time where we discuss older days and solve the future problems of the world. You will definitely not feel alone. Once you arrive at the airport, BB has got you. They will be waiting for you and will take it from there. They will get you where you are supposed to go and help you make friends with everyone else. All the hosts are amazing. 2 of my favorites are Wynndy and Karen. Positive, energetic, loving. They always have us in mind and pay special attention to each person. Love them!

Review: I traveled a day early and met up with 3 other ladies in the Charlotte airport. One I’ve known for 2 years. This was our fourth trip together and we planned our travel together. I didn’t know the other ladies until we met in the airport. For one this was her second BB trip. The other was on her first trip. We connected immediately. Traveling to the hotel for the night, dinner and traveling to the lodge the next day allowed us to get to know each other. I met several other ladies that I didn’t know and caught up with several that had been on other trips with me. I always leave feeling that I’ve made new friends. I hope we travel together again in the future. The group connected well from day 1. My favorite moment was the night of the Yule log lighting when the guide, Bambi, took a picture of us circled around a lit outdoor Christmas tree holding hands. My first trip with Beatrice Bradley was in August 2022. While I had flown alone before I had never gone on a trip where I wasn’t going to know anyone at the destination. I chose a trip that was a long weekend to a location I had always wanted to see. The hostesses and the other guests made me feel welcomed from the moment we met. Here I am many trips later and still feeling as though I’m traveling with friends. This is one of the best ways to be a solo traveler but not be alone. If you’re considering a trip, just book it and go. You won’t be sorry. You’ll make new friends and hopefully will be traveling again with those friends in the future. I’ve never traveled with a bad host with BB. However, I’m always excited to learn that my good friend Wynndy will be one of the hosts on my trip. She works hard taking care of the guests and making everyone feel comfortable while making it not look like work. This was my second trip with Karen. She makes everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. Thanks to them it was another wonderful trip with Beatrice Bradley. I look forward to traveling with them again.

Review: Oh, my goodness almost too many to mention. I enjoy meeting ladies from different parts of the country. The Texas contingent was strong on this trip and these ladies were crazy fun. Our ladies from the midwest are always willing to try anything and I made a new friend from Maine. For me it’s that first meal together as we learn where everyone is from. I would have never visited Nashville if not for BB. That first night seeing all Honky Tonks lite up and hearing the music was magical. Yes, it was cold but that didn’t diminish the magic of going to the Grand Ol Opry. Yehaww! Every time I come back from a solo trip my friends tell me that I am brave to go by myself but with BB that isn’t the case. I tell my friends at home that everything is taken care of for you from the time you step off the plane until you board your flight home. Making new friends is the cherry on top of the cake. Connie and Karla put their heart into ensuring that we had a great time on this trip. They not only made sure we had memorable experiences but they also made sure that everyone was having fun and being safe. Thank you ladies for being our hostesses on this trip.

Review: My connection with Sherri, Donna, Gigi, Connie and Kayla were the best. We had so much fun. All of the ladies were fabulous and friendly. We laughed till our sides hurt. The trip was a blast – start to finish. Visiting the bars on Broadway, listening to the music, dancing and singing. Shopping for cowboy stuff was also fun. Yes – I was hesitant because I didn’t know what I would find. I worked with women throughout my 30 plus year career and never became close because my work was competitive. I had many “surface” friendships but none were close. This trip changed that. I dropped my armor and became my true self and was accepted as “me”. It was a fabulous awakening. I arrived at the same time as Gigi, Vicki and Janie. Connie greeted us at the airport. We were instantly friends and equals. The ladies were professional women – like me – who just wanted to make friends and have fun – which we did. I would tell a new traveler “Go for it!” “Give it a shot!” You will be very pleasantly surprised. There was no competition, no snobbery, no one-up-manship, just honest caring women enjoying a slice of life in a fabulous place. I credit our hostesses Karla and Connie with setting the tone. Yes, they managed everything seamlessly and we didn’t even notice. We were all just 16 women friends having a great time. Again, Karla and Connie set the tone for a fabulous trip. I was hardly aware that behind the scenes they were “working their butts off” ensuring everything went perfectly – and it did. Yes – there were a few hiccups I am sure, but they were always smiling, helpful and pleasant and never lost their cool. Their teamwork was flawless. Now that is an ART! I guess the best comment I can make is that Karla and Connie blended into the group perfectly and we were a family of instant friends enjoying each other and having a fabulous time together.

Review: I met a lovely lady from Houston. She’s fun and interesting. We will stay in touch. A few of us went shopping and bought boots and cowgirl hats. We wore them out on the town and became a part of the culture. There is nothing to be nervous about. Everyone is essentially in the same boat — traveling solo but not alone. Some of us have been lucky enough to meet up with friends we’ve met on past trips, but we all started the same way — traveling solo but not alone and meeting very fine and interesting women from all over the country who share the same values. Connie and Karla were great.

Review: All the women in our travel group got along well and enjoyed each other immensely. We all loved our hosts, too. Our first dinner together made me aware that I felt very comfortable with all the other like-minded, fun women. We all meshed so well. I would never hesitate to sign up for another Beatrice Bradley trip. Even though I traveled with a friend on my 2 BB trips, I would feel very confident and comfortable going by myself. It is such an easy way to take a vacation with someone else making all the plans and making sure things go smoothly. Connie Pickett and Kelly Kittleson were wonderful hosts. They remained calm, cool, and collected when things didn’t go as planned. They always were positive and very inclusive. Both ladies are so much fun!

Review: Such similar core beliefs of the quality women there – it made it easy to start conversations and make new friends. Riding together from the airport started us getting acquainted. And the hostesses were wonderful. Not one specific moment, but the hostesses would overhear a want, or ask what we needed. They were always ready to serve us. With great joy! Just do it! I didn’t know anyone but others did not either. I never once felt “alone”, unless I wanted to be. You have found a much needed niche, where women don’t need to be guarded about their political and Christian views. Wynndy was the hostess I was around the most. She was always at the ready. Whatever you might need. And such a joyful fun attitude. They were all wonderful, true servants. My compliments to your hiring and training teams.

Review: It was amazing to be with women from various parts of the country, coming together & enjoying what I call my Ultimate Bucket List Trip of a Lifetime!! From the moment I arrived in my hotel the night before the journey began, being greeted by the hosts, Jane & Sharon, I felt “I’m home, I’ve found my People!” It was an experience of loving enjoyment of diverse experiences, vistas, with open spaces for poking around in various shops & markets, enjoying the countryside, as well as some of the most delicious food & drink I’ve experienced. Our driver, Tom O’Toole, was a gifted historian & narrator of our experience, enhancing my enjoyment beyond the castles, churches, abbeys, tours of Guinness & Jameson factories, woolen mills & immersing us in Irish culture. The love & care Jane & Sharon brought to the trip was a comfort, being in a foreign country, but having the personal touch of a family member. Standing at the Cliffs of Moher & spinning around, singing “The Hills are alive…” while Jane took pictures & a video of me! The sweet fellowship we also had while riding from place to place, chatting to fill the time, sharing at the dinner tables, adventuring with new/different cocktails & foods. JUST DO IT! It was a comfort to not have to plan anything, where to go, what to do, where to eat. The hardest decisions were what to eat for 3 meals a day! The comfort of being in a group was a strong sense of security in a new place, & without the headache of planning & wondering if it’d be as good as advertised. When people ask my favorite part, I’d say it was ALL so good I couldn’t think of ONE! Thank you multitudes, Jane & Sharon, for your love, guidance, PATIENCE with me & for me, your comfort when energy was flagging or pain was too much & a part of the journey was skipped, you were so kind & supportive, hailing an Uber if necessary. As my first experience, I’m a believer & have already taken my second Journey to Maine for Lighthouses & Lobsters! Loved every moment!

Review: As always amazing connections were made, I was especially touched that one young lady account her Mom to make sure she was ok & I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with them. Just all of the laughing & ease that was felt and of course the amazing lodging. I would strongly encourage anyone to try this, I even had a conversation with a new time traveler with BB who had concerns about “being able to keep up” I told her that no one will force her to do anything & the hosts & other guests are very patient and kind! Thank you to Wyndee, Sharon & Melissa for an exceptional trip as well as their driving skills! They helped make this trip I think my favorite of all of my BB trips!

Review: “Everyone is a story.” The sharing, learning and camaraderie with ladies my age made the trip so much more than just a tour. I have a bookmark that I have had for years. It says that no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever. These ladies left a mark on me! I am thankful for the friendship of each person on the trip. “Just Do It” Everything is taken care of so all you need to do is show up, relax and enjoy. You won’t regret it. Review: I met a fellow educator what happened to be born in Germany, just like me. I enjoyed conversing in German with her several times. All the other ladies on the trip were sweet and friendly! Both of our drivers were natives of the area, and enlightened us about the history, culture, and foods of PEI. One of them served us raw oysters that he had just gotten fresh from a vendor! I enjoy meeting people, and had a good experience choosing double occupancy. Even though my roommate had a different personality than me, there was no problem getting along. You ought to give it a try!

Review: I met some wonderful ladies from so many different states. I was able to share information with some of the ladies and plan to see a few of them in January if not sooner. The time in the evenings when we returned from a wonderful day of activity and had time to talk with different ladies. I have already told a few of my friends about my trip and the many exciting experiences I had . They are excited to hear more possibilities of trips with Beatrice Bradley. The hosts were so organized and prepared to assist us in any way. Sharon, Melissa and Wynndy were great. The ladies kept us informed of the daily plans and made me feel like a part of the group!

Review: As usual the hosts were amazing & took great care of all 18 of us! I loved seeing 2 friends I met on my 1st BB trip (Susan & Rhonda) & of course I absolutely LOVED being with host Sharon again! There were 16 ladies and 2 hosts I’d never met so that just means 18 new friends! Bring with like minded ladies (especially so close to a Presidential election was fabulous! Being from So Cal I’ve being from So Cal I’ve been so worried that Trump doesn’t have enough support, but being in TN with all these wonderful conservative ladies made me feel confident that the rest of the country “has my back” in support of Trump! Yea!!!

Review: I really enjoyed my second time with each host, Ellen and Kelly. Visiting with the Amish was so interesting and special. They were open, kind and friendly. They requested we ask them any questions we wanted to ask. I’ve been on 6 trips. Each one was special in it’s own way. It’s easy to make friends right away. You will not regret it. Ellen and Kelly were great hosts. They made sure everything went smoothly, took care of all the details, were caring, fun and loving.

Review: This trip was really special! Very resilient and strong women I loved them all. I loved the care that BB gives to their guests. The mountain picnics were right up there with my favorite. The setting! Getting to show up and it’s all so beautifully displayed and so homemade and yummy. Loved meeting Kim and John. Also we had a wayward canoe and John was there to help guide them in. Wow when does that ever happen with a travel group. I loved the way our hosts were so attentive yet let us truly enjoy so much. Up North was truly beautiful and I was grateful to be whisked out of Minneapolis loved Duluth too. Everything was so memorable. You are in for a truly special adventure! Beatrice Bradley is top notch and the new friends will warm your heart. Loved every moment !! Esp the Pioneer Mine Tour The early morning walks Your generosity ..always The picnics The people!! Review: It was wonderful, I made many new connections. I loved the ATV ride, I already have had massive injuries so everyone was great and looking out for me. I would say that no matter the age or issues that everyone looks out for each other and you quickly find out that you are not alone with your problems, that everyone has something. Second time Ellen was my host, she is wonderful. First time I had Karen, she was great.

Review: It’s hard to express how much I enjoyed this experience. Staying in a home with other like-minded women was a very special experience. I enjoyed waking up and having coffee not getting my pajamas on seeing other women, relaxing and having time to just get to know each other. Sharing a home Was a unique and wonderful experience. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the ocean was wonderful. We could talk or we could just be still. That was wonderful. Just try it. Be friendly, open, enjoy us about the experience and you will find others just like you. Connie and Karla were wonderful. They made the trip and the stay at the house a wonderful experience and I would willingly go on another trip that they were hosting.

Review: General friendliness of all the group. My roommate was great. Wow so hard to say. I loved the ft sumpter and battle ship tour. And the yoga and eating out. Bourse carriage ride. Review: There were several meaningful connections, it’s hard to say which one was most meaningful. I connected perfectly with my roommate who I didn’t know beforehand. We had great discussions at the end of every day about our experiences on the trip and just in our everyday lives. Also, there was a traveler who liked to walk fast and take a lot of pictures like me so we first connected in that way. I also felt a more spiritual connection with the host Ellen. She was wonderful…great leader, caring, listener, observer, organizer, Christian. Again, there were several times that I truly felt connected. The times that stick out the most are the introductions we did around the dinner table, the star gazing on the dock, the picnic lunches and the singing in the van. Although this is my first trip with Beatrice Bradley, it is my 4th solo group travel experience. All of them have had little hiccups or maybe someone you don’t prefer but the hosts make sure that everyone is enjoying their experience. It’s really fun, even for an introvert like me, to meet and get to know people from all over the Country. It’s rather grounding, in a way, seeing and hearing about other people’s struggles and triumphs. And, of course, it is a great way to see places that might have been hard to get to or coordinate on your own. Beatrice Bradley goes above and beyond with the scheduling, activities, meals, accommodations and gifts. You care and it shows. I already mentioned Ellen above. I loved her. She was really the mom of the whole group and had firm control of what was happening even if things were not going as planned. She’s a ray of sunshine. Karen was the other host on my trip and she was full or fun and excitement. She made everyone feel seen and encouraged us to be engaged.

Review: There are so many different women, religions, backgrounds, interests, hobbies…you are bound to find at least one if not many women with similar interests that will engage you in a conversation, join you in a hike, a drink, a swim….not once have i ever felt lonely or like an outcast. And if the guests should not be compatible, the hosts always jump in to make you feel loved. This is my first trip with Karen, and she went above and beyond to “rake care” of me (she will know what I mean). I would have missed out on the canoeing if not for her, she went above and beyond despite mt telling her that I didn’t need to go…and I gad an amazing time and found a lifetime friend! Ellen, it was so good to see you again, and see that you are as sweet as ever. Karen, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet you and will be forever in your debt for going above and beyond what I believe a host should have to be required to do for a host (…thank goodness for John and Moosh! Review: Everyone on this trip was wonderful. We all got along so well and everyone seemed to care! Several times people approached us to ask if we were old time friends and couldn’t believe we had just met! The group was small enough that you got to know everyone and had time to interact with each other. There were so many wonderful experiences-there was something for everyone’s interests. If I had to pick one I would say going out on the airboat to different beaches and learning about all the diversity of creatures from the land, sea and air in the area. I have traveled with other groups some even solo travel groups and this is the best trip I have taken. You have spoiled me. Your hostess are incredible and really took good care of all of us!

Review: Met some really neat ladies on this trip. We have our group text still going. Sharing our travel plans. I made plans for a trip in May. Another person is joining with possibly two more looking at it as well. It was a great group. Also one lady from my first Mackinac Island trip is looking to join the trip in May as well maybe. I enjoyed just eating and talking with the ladies around the dinner table every night. We laughed a lot! I also offered to ride with Ellen so she did not have to ride alone to Nags Head and again back to the Airport. I truly enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her a little bit more! What a treasure for Beatrice Bradley! Taking the first step/trip is the hardest! But I promise you won’t regret it and you will be hooked. You will meet new friends in a great stress-free way to travel! Your only problem will be deciding where you would like to travel on your next BB trip! My second trip with Ellen and she is amazing at putting everyone at ease. She keeps a great attitude while keeping everyone moving and on time. She is a great hostess for BB! Review: It was an overall great experience meeting women from the East, Midwest and South side of the country, with me coming from AZ. We had lots of laughs and no complaining “Karen’s” which is always a joy! All of our fun activities connected us, as well as our dinners, getting to know each other even better. Sitting next to different women at lunch, dinner and on the bus helped us learn more about each other. I’d share my own experiences after having taken 3 trips with Beatrice Bradley. It’s great and empowering to take that leap of faith and learn you’re not alone in your solo journey in life. I watched several transformations on the Outer Banks trip which was cool to see. I absolutely loved meeting Ellen and Melissa! They are so down to Earth, warm, accommodating and funny. I would definitely sign on to another trip with either one of them hosting. One of the days that we just relaxed at home and went swimming as a group so much fun. Just a bunch of us floating around and playing in the pool and chitchatting. Review: From not knowing anyone to making friends and having wonderful conversations and many laughs. That sums up my experience. I’m a recent widow after 47 years, never living on my own. Somehow I found this group and signed up for the trip. I knew I couldn’t back out after I paid and bought my plane ticket! Karen & Liz, our hosts, were both awesome. Caring, informed and so much fun. I connected with many of the women, and I felt accepted and encouraged by all. The activities were exactly what I would have chosen! I loved the tours, boat rides, exploration and restaurants. So many of the women were widows. They were so encouraging to me in letting me know that this road is long and it is hard, but I will make it. I will be successful. I will never forget, but I will learn to live fully. They made it easier for me to let go and truly enjoy myself on this trip. Knowing that this group in for women who love America and God, Small groups, so many fun things are planned and everything is taken care of. Pick a trip, pay your money and pack your bag! Don’t worry about fashion or even packing lots & lots of clothes. Many of us were wearing things two or three times! Karen & Liz were superior hosts. They were friendly and caring. They let us into their hearts right away. I feel they were perfectly paired for each other and this trip because they never stepped on each other, kept us informed at all times with paper schedule, texts, always looking ahead so we were never surprised or out of the loop. Even to the point of if we were walking to someplace, they would tell our gathered group, “ok, when we walk out that door we are all going to the left.” One in front, on in back. I always felt in the loop. I miss them in my life right now!

Review: Having stayed in the beautiful Isle of Palms home was exceptional. We were able to bond, talk, play and simply enjoy living together. Whereas, in a hotel you just don’t get that. The location was perfect to get to know a someone walking on the beach or simply watching a movie. There wasn’t one moment. We lived together. No better way to know someone. My 1st trip was to Nashville. I was hesitant but I quickly made lifelong friends. And our hosts (Connie) were exceptional at encouraging us to get to know everyone. I never felt like I was on a solo trip. In fact, 2 “friends” I made in Nashville came to this trip in Charleston. I would say and have told others “you are not alone on these experiences. You will come away with memories, friendships and lots of smiles. I really connected with Connie in Nashville and it made me so happy to see her in Charleston. She and Karla worked extra hard for us. Being in a house, they took charge of food and cleaning up, no matter how much we offered to help.. They were organized, they were creative, they were sweet and simply the best! They put us all at ease and encouraged us to step out of our comfort zone.

Review: it was so wonderful to travel with women who had the same political conservative ideals, and who pretty much thought the same way as I did. It was a really cohesive, lovely group of ladies that Karla and Connie brought together. And as hostesses they couldn’t have been more perfect. They tended to our every need, they were great chefs and they really took care of us above and beyond. And the house was truly lovely. It was nice to be in a house because then we were able to come together more often and share stories and get to know each other. Do puzzles, watch TV ,go swimming. It was all wonderful. The one moment on this trip that made me feel connected was when we did the introductions of each other all around the dining room table. And we told a little bit about each of our lives. And we all led such different lives and came from such different places so it was great to hear the stories. Everyone watched out for each other and made sure we were all aware we were supposed to be when we were supposed to be. I really appreciate all these ladies were always on time but as far as traveling solo, it’s a great group to be in because the hostesses are so attentive. I truly appreciate each of you, Connie and Karla as you were very attentive to all of our needs needs and took care of us like mother hens should. You were wonderful food preppers and such lovely caring people all in all. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you on another trip.

Review: Enjoyed staying in the home on the beach! Gave the best opportunity to connect daily with the other ladies! Sharing the porch with the ocean view helped to relax more and provided lots of talking time! Loved it! Sitting outside at night with the ladies watching the ocean waves and the setting sun is priceless! Also having the same conservative values was a huge bonus! Review: Walking down the street at Niagara on the Lske was really magical. This trip had just the right amount of touring and shopping experiences. Charleston and the Tulips and Windmills river cruise was too much touring and not enough shopping and filling up on the ambiance of the location. BB provides the perfect experience for solo travelers because the hosts take such good care of us.

The ladies that show up on these trips are absolutely the best of the best that one could ever tour with! So friendly and outgoing! The hostesses are excellent and are very sensitive to your enjoyment of every moment spent. They are extremely accommodating should any special need or situation that comes up along the way. Review: I loved the itinerary and being busy throughout the day. The people on the trip were all engaging, interesting, and fun people to associate with, as they made traveling fun. Maximizing time and being able to see as much as possible in a short period of time is a benefit of going on group travel. It takes away some of the busy work an individual person would have to coordinate and allows you to be able to explore more territory in a short time frame. I loved the history the tour guides provided as we were traveling around to all the different places to view the falls. Not only were the views from different areas beautiful, the information provided made you feel connected to the rich history of the area and community. The hostesses make everything very easy for you and can answer all your questions or concerns. They make traveling easy. Wynndy and Kelly were perfect hosts for the trip. I love being around positive, happy people and they were gracious hosts. Review: I found so many new friends on this trip. I met 2 very special ladies and will now consider them close friends going forward. Everyone got along so well, and truly wanted to hang out together. I enjoy the camaradrie and watching others overcome their fears in trying something new. That’s always something special for me on these trips. The vast moutnains and clean air, jeeping through the Garden of Gods, watching and holding hands with others when they were scared to go tubing, ziplining or even just walking about. The Colorado trip was planned perfectly, the 2 hotels we stayed in were fantastic, clean and were in perfect locations. Food was great. Each day was a new adventure with beautiful scenery and fun things to do. Our age group was 58 – 78 years old. The trip is so well planned that everyone was able to share their experiences together, some a little spryer than others, Yes Patty I’m talking about you and love you for it! The Colorado trip is my 4th trip with Beatrice Bradley and I enjoyed every minute of it! Besides the pre-trip call and the information you receive before the trip, your only obligation is to get on the plane and arrive at your destination. When you get off the plane, you already have a text telling you the location and how to get there to meet your hostesses and your soon to be new friends. After your initial meet, it’s all fun and no worry for the whole trip! Yes, you can do this, Beatrice Bradley makes it that easy. The hostesses were Sharon and Karen. Sharon was an awesome host and very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and calm. She is one of the top hosts I had so far. Karen is a fun, friendly and very kind person. She is my host for my next trip – Ely and boundary Waters.

Having been born and raised in Northern California, and recently living in Florida, I was brought to tears by my hearts desire to return to such Nature. Traveling between our venues was amazing. Colorado was just what I needed to gather the strength to throw aside the idea that at the age of 77, I am not up to making the move back to happiness. Truly connected with the terrain. This was a life changing adventure. The women who shared this adventure were easy going and a pleasure to be with. Until I decided to travel with BB, I only traveled solo. So for me, it was the the idea of solo “group” travel that held me back. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the very first encounter at the airport everything just fell into place. Having my own room was key. One has the comforting feeling of independence, with the delight of knowing every detail has been taken care of. Review: The ladies were very friendly and engaging! So many things but my favorite was the river cruise and the spiral church. So different and absolutely beautiful. I loved christina it was such a unique part of town. My favorite meal was at Jordan parents house because of the atmosphere and kindness they showed us my favorite restaurant was Monday night. I don’t remember the name. The Nordic soup was delicious. Denmark people are very proud of their country. It is very clean and they are respectful of each other. The history is very important to them. They are very resourceful and are very much into saving the planet. This was my first BB trip. I was nervous going into it of course The hosts were incredible so very kind and sincere. They wanted me to have the best time possible. The ladies came from far and wide but we joined together and formed a pack as everyone was in the same situation. The activities we very well thought out tickets purchased reservations made tours engaging. It went like clockwork. I signed up for another trip with them before this trip was over!!! Just do it!!

Review: I’ve been on three trips and this was my fourth. The other trips were wonderful and this one was just a step above wonderful. Review: Yes. It was really great getting to know all about new people, but also learning what we had in common in our life experiences. I enjoyed the Freedom Trail for the history and the Hop on/off trolley for the freedom to do different things. Loved Legal Seafood for the delicious food. Every day! Lots of information given by people at our activities and our hosts were knowledgeable about how to get around and fun things to do. I would 100% recommend traveling with Beatrice Bradley. I did the Boston/Marthas Vineyard trip. I had wanted to go, but did not feel comfortable going alone. This turned out to be the perfect solution. Everything is taken care of from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. The hosts keep everything on track and take care of any issues that may come up. Lodging and food were incredible and activities were fun as well as educational. The hosts were fun and so kind and committed to making this an amazing trip. The women in our group got along really well and formed good connections that will last. I am already looking into my next trip. Take the chance-you won’t regret it!

Review: Yes!! I meet some amazing women and we have already talked about going on another trip together. I loved the safaris and seeing all the animals. I also loved the hot air balloon ride (even though I was nervous at first). I did. The different terrains, animals and food. I tried all the different game meats and I liked them. I slept outside on the balcony and the stars were bright. I felt like I could reach up and touch them. It was amazing.! I felt comfortable from day one. I met lots of great people and after a few days we were like old friends. The trip more than exceeded my expectations. It was a trip of a lifetime. Our hostess Mercy and Connie were fantastic! Review: The food was plentiful and awesome. All of the activities were great, but I think I enjoyed the shooting the most. Review: What a great adventurous group of ladies! We all talked about how good it felt to talk openly about everything patriotic????????. We will keep our text thread open to keep texting one another. The shooting ended up being my favorite even though I had never shot before. Dana and Carey were the best making us feel comfortable. The ladies that prepared our food did an excellent job preparing delicious meals everyday. Kudos to all of them and to our bartenders. Discovered that the land was so flat and vast. Review: This was my 4th visit to DC; and the best “well rounded” experience of all.
The prior visits were twice with one other person, and on the last visit I spent a week solo. This trip was the very best of all. There was not one time I disagreed with any of the decisions made regarding the use of our time. Having everything prescheduled was perfect. Up to this point I have been a recluse, 99% of the time, I travel solo. Have driven across the U.S.A 12 times. I adopt senior shepherds, so it was me and my dog. Between dogs now, so it’s time for different travel. Every one of the women on the DC trip was a pleasure to be with. And I believe the feeling was mutual. We were in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. I felt like I belonged. Like being with special lifelong friends, just comfortable. Everyone was real.

For those who hesitate joining in:

Feelings of comradery from day one. There is a feeling of fitting in. All looking after one another like family.
Every need is fulfilled, from airport greeting, to gleeful (and yet sad) farewells.
Restaurant reservations, professional tour companies, hotels, and superior hostesses. All very high-end. Not for one moment was there fear of disruption in our smoothly running experience. At least not one that we couldn’t just laugh at!
I’m 77, and a Gypsy at heart. I feel as if I have found a great company in Beatrice Bradley. For me, the experience of travel has been enhanced. The benefit of solo travel, with all of the benefits of a personal tour guide.
It’s not a cliché ladies, the truth is LIFE ON THIS EARTH is short. Love it before you leave it; it’s a beautiful place ✌

Review: I learned so much about Alaska. I loved the conservative values expressed by the locals as well as the group. This was y 6 th trip and my favorite. Review: The entire trip was carefully curated and delivered. Landing on a glacier was exciting and special, but the entire experience of traveling from Homer by float plane and various water crafts to dinner at the Wandering Goat was absolutely incredible. There is so much to see and love about Alaska. Every day on this trip allowed me to experience new things. Solo travel with other women has opened up the world for me. After my first trip to New Orleans in November 2022, I kept on traveling solo, with and without the travel buddies I have made along the way. The other travelers go out of their way to make others comfortable, and Beatrice Bradley does an excellent job creating an experience rather than simply an itinerary.

Review: Although I enjoyed all the activities, I think I enjoyed the Olympic park and the horse ride. Although I ride horses every day, this was an extremely beautiful trail and the horses were so well behaved. The Olympic park was a great adventure. I enjoyed being in Utah very much. My sister and I toured the city in our free time using the scooters, that is a memory I won’t forget. I’m not a very good review writer, so not so sure I can come up with something that might encourage anyone. Because I went with my sister there was no risk in it for me. I enjoy meeting new ladies and Utah seemed like a great destination. Now that I’ve been on one and know what it’s like, I’d sign up for another and go solo.

Review: So many favorite activities, I can’t pick just one. Top of the list would be touring the Grand Hotel at our leisure to enjoy refreshments and the view. Also the Carriage Tour of the Island with all the fun tidbits of information the drivers shared. All of the restaurants were great. One place not on the schedule that we stopped for lunch the first day had a fun atmosphere and great food was Patrick Doud’s Irish Pub. I did not know what to expect but everyone that had ever been to Mackinac Island loved it and now I know why. I learned about the history of the area, the flowers and atmosphere was spectacular. And learning how they operate the businesses throughout the year regarding the horses and summer employees, etc. was so interesting. This was my second trip with Beatrice Bradley and I was much more comfortable going into this trip knowing that friendships would be made quickly and easily. We are all there for the same purpose – to enjoy ourselves, encourage others to enjoy themselves, laugh and share our stories. All while enjoying a new experience in a part of the country on our bucket list. And thanks to the Beatrice Bradley coordinators and hosts, we are pampered and taken care of every step of the way.

Review: All were great. Honestly just walking around the town and visiting the sites was fabulous. But if I had to select just one favorite it would be the Grand Hotel visit. My least favorite (although I did not mind it was the carriage tour. You really get enough of the carriage type tours by the horse drawn taxi. You could easily leave that off. My favorite restaurant was the Sea Biscuit. But again, ALL the restaurants were great. All keepers 🙂 All of it was new! this was my first time on the island and would advise anyone to go! If you are thinking about a solo trip with Beatrice Bradley, stop thinking and just do it! The trip was fabulous in every way. The hosts were fantastic, the hotel and restaurants were all 5 Star and fabulous. And last but not least of all was the great camaraderie with the ladies!

Review: I have been on other trips where I travel there alone then meet up with the tour group. Review: I was uncertain how I would fit in with a group of women after being divorced raising my girls alone for 25 years. I went in cautiously optimistic and this trip more than exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful! The ladies were all engaging and like minded and the trip was AMAZING. The views are continually breathtaking! The activities are wonderfully planned and allow you to experience a lot of what the parks have to offer. You will not be disappointed! Mercy and Suzanne are an experienced team that know the area well and will keep the trip running smoothly if any blips happen along the way. The fact that everything is included was wonderful. You don’t have to worry about additional charges unless you decide to go do activities on you own( although I don’t know why you would do that). Everyone is included and meant to feel welcome. Review: The ladies were great! Each and every one was fun and interesting. I had never been to Nashville so all of it was new and exciting. That is why I think I liked the Golf Cart Tour because we saw parts of Nashville that most people wouldn’t have gotten to see. This was one heck of a trip! Everything was so impeccably thought out and our hosts could not have been more perfect for all of us. This was my first trip and I truly did not know what to expect. I could not have imagined how much fun I would have!! Definitely going to plan another trip!!!

Review: Yes, many good conversations with everyone. I think having like mindsets was refreshing. We had some serious conversations but many many laughs! Everything was wonderful so hard to choose. Grand Ole Opry, line dancing lesson, museums, golf cart tour and all restaurants were fabulous. Do it! I guess since I did join and travel to the destination solo, I was solo. However it never felt solo after that. It always felt like you had a group of friends waiting for you, and we did. Fabulous trip and our hostesses Connie & Kelly were awesome. They really made us feel looked after but not hovering or restrictive. They also were keen on what the group needed and when without us really needing to ask. If we did, they were very receptive to assist.

Review: As a single mom, I spent many years raising my family and never really going on a real vacation. Now that my children are grown and have families of their own, it’s time for me to see our country but no partner to go with. Beatrice Bradley is a fantastic company that plans and organizes everything, and they have zeroed in on some wonderful places across our country to go visit. This was my second trip and both trips have been filled with fun places to go and interesting women to travel with. Great way to experience the USA.

Review: I learned that the “big city” was a tad safer than I expected-especially in the tourist areas. These areas seemed to have a small town feel and the people working in the areas were very friendly & engaging. The scenery was beautiful with fresh flowers all over Annapolis and so much greenery everywhere! What do you do when your husband doesn’t like to travel like you do? You find a travelling group. This group happens to be for Conservative women! 11 women from 7 States signed up to enjoy this experience. 2 were hostesses for the company & took care of all the arrangements, 2 were cousins, 2 were friends & the rest of us were virtual strangers. What we had in common was the love of travel. We had widowers, divorcees and married travelers whose spouses don’t enjoy travel! I just returned from an awesome trip to Philadelphia to learn more about our brave Patriots who signed the Declaration at Independence Hall. 3 days was not enough time to experience it all but we tried. I think one hostess tracked that we had walked 5 miles in one day! Then onto Annapolis, Maryland for a short 2.5 days of more history. Both cities were actually our original US Capitals!! It was great learning so much, meeting new friends, trying new foods and making memories.

Review: Our local guide, Nancy plus our amazing hostess’ made the entire trip so enjoyable! All the amazing views from every aspect of the falls & The historic aspect was amazing! & my friend & went zip lining definitely challenging my fears of heights & water! I’ve tried several new adventures on my BB trips with this being the latest. Yes I learned quite a bit about the history of the falls plus got to know my travel mates. I would highly recommend Beatrice Bradley as a travel group especially a a single female, our group had ladies from all over the US and a variation of ages, plus opportunities to do more challenging excursions if you choose to. My friend & I who met on a BB trip 2 years ago are heading to the Smoky Mountain trip in October, a highly recommended trip. We are also looking at the Texas safari trip. I would recommend if you have any reservations to give it a try! It may seem costly but you honestly have a premier trip from accommodations, food & excursions! I have no regrets after my 4th trip & can say I’ve made several new friends with at least 1 I can say is a bff!

Review: The history of both places was just incredible, I was amazed and felt privileged to be where our fore fathers were. Food was awesome and the locals were friendly. I was very impressed with our hostess!! They were amazing, caring, funny and organized. The excursions were very interesting. The naval academy was great, could have toured a bit longer.

Review: The majority of the restaurants we went to were excellent, but if I had to choose one activity that I loved, it would be the cooking class. I don’t even cook and it was so much fun. The chef was awesome – he had a great sense of humor while still making sure everything was completed. Great choice! Yes, I learned that the people are friendly and the food is good, not to mention it’s much healthier there than here. This was my first time traveling solo and with Beatrice Bradley, and it was an amazing experience. Beatrice Bradley takes care of everything for you and will also help with flights, if need be. I found the hotels to be top notch, and the tours were great. I will definitely be traveling with Beatrice Bradley again!

Review: The trip was fantastic! This was my second trip with BB, and it won’t be my last. I had so much fun. The accommodations, food, and itinerary were all great. Hats off to BB for their thoughtful planning. I really felt like I got to experience Portugal. Lisbon, Porto, Douro Valley, and then the best part of all – Madeira Island. Our hosts were wonderful. At the end of the trip we were asked about our favorite activity. It was an impossible question to answer when everything was exciting and fun. Review: This was my 3rd trip with Beatrice Bradley. Each trip is unique and well planned out. The women I have met are amazing and so very different. The hosts are accommodating and are with you every step of the way. Where you may feel intimidated at first, the minute you have pictures of all your companions, contact numbers of everyone in the organization and on your trip, pickup from the airport from someone with a welcome sign and a smile, and the overall friendliness from everyone is truly amazing. I recommend taking that first step, IT’S WORTH IT!

Review: You don’t even need to take your wallet with you once you arrive. All your needs are taken care of by the hosts. The hosts make sure your experience is spectacular. They get the perfect photos to document your adventure, they make sure everyone is comfortable and safe, there is an endless supply of food, snacks and drinks. They are quick to provide a plan B if plan A is disrupted by weather or any other unforeseen event. This was my 5th trip and they just get better and better. Merci and Suzanne are great hosts. So much so that I signed up for the Alaska trip i while still on this one. I can’t wait for the next adventure!!

Review: This was my first experience with the Beatrice Bradley travel group. The two hosts (Sharon and Karla) were so warm and friendly. They made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. I traveled and roomed with a friend, but I now know that I could easily travel on my own with this group. The small size (10 women besides the 2 hosts) was perfect. Everyone became friends—it was such a congenial like-minded group of women. Review: This was the best trip I have been on in years. EVERYTHING was included and our Hosts, Wynndy and Lynne were phenomenal, providing both professional and friendly service!! They went above and beyond when confronted with any situation, and our days were filled with activities as advertised, and GREAT food. I think we all gained a little weight. I will be going on more trips; the hardest part is picking which ones! I would even go on this trip again, because there was so much to see and do. Review: DO IT! BOOK IT! Cuba was amazing! I met many lovely ladies. Ellen and Sharon were the bests Hostesses. The Cuban culture is very colorful and FUN. The Cubans are very friendly .We saw, explored, ate, drank mojitos, learned, and had a BLAST! This was an amazing trip. Not many people can say they went to CUBA. My friends are all interesting in going now. IF you have the chance go! You will not regret it!

Review: First off-our tour guides-Suzanne and Laura were amazing! They managed to get a cohesive group together in 24 hours-we were not strangers but friends traveling together! Age and hiking abilities were not an issue! We stayed together as a group and helped each other! As far as solo travel went-I never felt alone-I had all my friends surrounding me! Review: The Costa Rica adventure was so amazing, the wildlife, the food, the 5 star hotel, the local people and best of all the bond made by all the ladies on the trip. At the hotel, people kept asking us if we were all best friends and we were even though we had just met. We saw a mother and baby humpback whale up close, sloths, 4 kinds of monkeys, crocodiles, maccaws and toucans, and much more. The trip was well organized, and the hostesses made sure we all were comfortable with all activities. I would do it again and look forward to more trips with BB.
